Excellent headlamp and small flashlight.
This little LED Flashlight/Headlamp is AMAZING! For $15, it is crazy how nice and solid it is. Other headlamps like it are way more expensive. It is very bright, and easy to press the button. It is way brighter on high and turbo even than my expensive 2015 model Fenix LD22 AA light that i EDC.However, is more of a wide throw light, flood, than the Fenix, that is more spot, which is what i wanted in a headlamp. This replaces a more "typical" multi-color LED style Energizer Headlamp that would just eat through my Rechargeable AAA batteries.I am a bit concerned that the plastic "tongs" that hold the light in, may break after some time, or if u are a bit too aggressive with putting the light in and out of it. The little tabs in the holder that rub against the metal ridges of the light when u twist the light, may also wear out. But, it is cheap enough, that i bought a few of them, and use the others as loose flashlights, and stowed away their headlamp holders, just in case the one i use breaks.I also bought 2 and zip tied the holder to some wire closet shelves in my bedroom closet, to have some light in there when i need it.So, these little things can also make a nice stick-up light in places u may not have even thought about.(I can't stand those cheaply made "puck" lights or other random motion LED closet lights that never stay on long enough or do not last very long.)Really wish they used USB C port, but, nope., its USB Mirco.Maybe a newer model will come out with that improvement. It takes 5 hours to fully charge (the RED charging led turns GREEN)It had no Instructions whatsoever in the package, which i thought was a bit odd. The back of the packaging, which u end up destroying to open the thing, did not have much either.I have noticed, the light sometimes has a memory?? Yea, its weird. For example, I press the button to turn it on, and move to the Low setting. Leave it on Low for a few to several minutes. Turn it off. Few minutes later, i turn it back on, and its still on Low.Press button again, it turns off, press again turns on to High.Sometimes it comes back on to the setting i last had it on, sometimes it doesn't.It for sure reverts to High if the light has been off for a longer period of time, maybe 10min+???

Best rechargeable flashlights on the market
I highly recommend these headlamps/flashlights !!! My last one just died after 4/12 really hard years on them! I’ve put them through hell and back! I lived through 3 years fishing rivers, lakes and ponds. Many night after. Dark planting plants being slammed around ,thrown around they have been with me and saved me broke down in the side of the road. The light getting extra bright has saved me many nights kayaking the Sacramento River 2 3 4 5 o’clock in the morning after lasting all night fishing. Battery life is amazing I’ve even dropped a couple of the in the water and never had bit one problem! They have a very comfy adjustable strap to turn them into a head lamp! As long as they make these amazing little light I’ll be buying them! They also make great gifts for anyone that really likes flashlights!in 49 years this is hands down the best flashlights I’ve every use bought or own! I think everyone should have one of these flashlights because they last and they are not kidding about it having 1,000 lumens! Friend have said they had a flash light with a 1,000 lumens and my flashlight made there’s look like and old broke down flashlight! Definitely buy these flashlights so made they will start making more like them. Stay Blessed and stay Lit!

CONSISTENT BRIGHTNESS FOR 8 HOURS!!
I'm not kidding. I've tested a couple dozen different headlamps of different battery types, different price levels, etc. NONE last as long as this at anywhere near this brightness. There's one well-known brand for $100 that lasts 6 hours, but at about 2/3 this brightness. Another one lasts almost 6 hours, but at about half the brightness of this one. Another one lasts about 4 1/2 hours, but at about half the brightness of this one. None of them were brigher than this, but this one lasts 8 hours at a pretty steady brightness. It's crazy. Let me explain the brightness in more detail.First of all, it makes me CRAZY MAD that almost every headlight I have ever tested all the way from $7 to $100 start off super bright and immediately (or in a relatively short time) they begin dimming, and they end up at like 1/2 or 1/3 of their original brightness. WHY DO MANUFACTURERS THINK WE WANT THAT?? THAT STINKS!! Ok, having said that, I have to tell you that this Energizer Hybrid 1000 headlight does that too. Sorry to say that. BUT HERE'S THE THING...with many headlamps, after that initial dimming, the headlight is too dim, or it just doesn't last very long, or both. But it's better with this Energizer headlamp. After the initial brightness drops over the next 40 minutes, the brightness it settles in at is still quite bright...and it THEN IT STAYS PRETTY CONSISTENT UNTIL THE 8 HOUR POINT!! It's hard to tell you that it will be bright enough for your needs, but for me, I use to work outside on the car at night, I use it in the garage, I use it in the yard, and it's bright enough for everything I need. I'm not kidding...8 hours.Okay, but what about the beam pattern and size? Well it's not a flood beam, it's more of a spot beam. But it's not a small beam, it's reasonably wide. And it's also not like super bright right in the middle, it's fairly spread out. I quite like it.Okay, but what about the color temperature of the light? Well, I admit, I prefer a headlamp that is a little more yellow than this. This is quite white, and maybe slightly bluish. It's not my favorite. But here's the thing, this headlamp provides light, and plenty of it, and in a very usable pattern, for 8 hours. It's comfortable to wear, the battery can be swapped out if you have a spare or it can be charged right in the flashlight with a micro-USB cable, it has versitile angle positioning, AND IT'S ONLY $15-ish!!I'm giving this 5 stars...not because it does everything better than every other flashlight, but because it does the most important things as good or better than most flashlights, and lasts longer than any of them, with fairly good consistency, and for pocket-change cost. I know some people will be snobby about having the perfect color temperature or might get hung up on one or the other specific features that aren't perfect. But overall, I defy you to find a flashlight as usable as this for anywhere even close to this price. I bought multiples, and I've been using them for a year, and I'm still tickled with them.

Let's there be light.
Nice bright light and good battery life. Nice it comes with both rechargeable and regular batteries. Not sure why they use an oddball size battery and it'd be nice if it was usb c instead of the antique micro usb. When the rechargeable battery dies it just goes without getting dimmer.
