This Product & Inflammatory Bowel Disease!
I was diagnosed several years ago with Ulcerative Colitis (INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE), and currently take prescribed PENTASA 500mg slow release tablets = 1g three times daily.I have always taken some form of probiotic supplement because I also suffer from a skin condition and have to take a low maintenance dose of antibiotics to help control this. Naturally, this has an adverse affect on my bowel health in its own right. Having to contend with the U/C in addition complicates the situation and it is imperative that I pay particular attention to my bowel health per se.Other lower dosed probiotics (e.g. 20 billion per capsule) would help to a point but not all of the time. I chose to try Active Balance because of the much higher friendly bacteria count per dosage. However,I was concerned about possibly aggravating my U/C but not so much about flatulence. After taking this product for almost 6 months now, I am happy to say that I personally have found it to be beneficial with no known unpleasant side-effects. It does help because if I 'lay off' taking the product, I find episodes of aggravated symptoms of the U/C returning. It has also reduced the frequency of having to apply Colifoam enema which is used to help dampen down 'flare-ups' of the condition.Additionally, cost was also a determaining factor because I could not afford the high cost of a well known probiotic product (with a very high dosage) which is available as either refrigerated powders or capsules.There is much dispute for/against the effectiveness of probiotic supplements for patients with IBD, but personally, I find this product to be beneficial.Furthemore, the dispatch and delivery has always been prompt from the Best Health Shop who provide an excellent service too !!!One very satisfied customer!

Returning a Natural Balance with High Potency Probiotic.
After reading about this product and looking at the specification offered, I just had to order some and give them a try. Active Balance is a great product at an extremely attractive price. International delivery was very quick in just over a week.I have replaced the liquid Pro-Biotic that I had been taking, with this professional grade product, after reading just how ineffective most liquid Pro-Biotic supplements are at improving gut flora. With modern eating habits being what they are, the majority of us don't eat or drink enough of the right stuff for a normal and healthy gut - Active Balance in my humble opinion properly addresses all of those issue with just one pill a day.My wife has recently been diagnosed with Salicylate Intolerance which is making it very difficult for her to keep a good healthy gut, this Advanced, Professional grade product is a real find and she will be swapping over from here pharmacy recommended product once those are all gone.

The best probiotic my son has ever had!
My order of the probiotic took 8 days to arrive. I ordered 3 bottles of these for my son with IBS, who said it's the best probiotic he's had that really does help with IBS. Instead of staying indoors by the bathroom, it has given him the freedom to get on with what he has to do each day. He only takes one in the morning and two Serrapeptase capsules. Taking the probiotic and the Serrapeptase capsules daily and making some changes to his diet has made a world of difference to his IBS symptoms.

Took a couple of weeks to arrive, but well worth the wait. I cannot find anything close to this for the price, will be back again to buy more.50 Billion CFU's is a high potency, and for the price for 90 capsules, I could not find anything close to this for value.I find that by taking these my digestive symptoms are a lot less than when I do not take them.Very good buy in my opinion, and I will order more in the future, as they are such good value.

Good quality, reasonably priced Probiotic.
I really like this probiotic, I've used a few different brands previously and this is certainly the best, in my opinion. Both my daughter and I felt 'better' very quickly - more energetic, clearer headed and suffered less with cold viruses - both in terms of frequency of illness, but also severity. I definitely recommend this product as a good quality probiotic.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGCan't thank you enough for this wonderful product. After suffering from constant bloating due to my IBS and a serious twisted bowel operation giving me constant bowel problems, it is such a relief to be relieved of a lot of the related problems. I have previously tried this from H & B but only their maximum 20 billion which after a while stopped having any effect. Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone with similar problems.

Works for us, give it a try
Needed to sort out our tummy problems, the wife and I, so we looked around for something that would do the trick. Our daughter suggested Active Balance so we decided to go with it, and it certainly works for us. Only been on it a short time and we can feel the difference. No bloated stomachs, no sickly feelings after certain foods and no stomach cramps. It has made the world of difference and we would recommend trying it. Not only that but the delivery service was excellent.

Great value for this strength
After reading 'The Plan' and having suffered from IBS for years, I wanted to find a probiotic that delivered 30-50million active cultures per serving. I looked on several websites and then found this item which had the right levels and for such a bargain price. Imagine it will do the job perfectly. Previous probiotics I have used have advised keeping in the fridge once opened and although it doesn't say it on these bottles, it's probably a good idea to do so to keep its potency. Recommended purchase for the money!
