Spigen Lock Fit Designed for AirPods Pro 2nd Generation Case 2022/2023 (USB-C/Lightning Cable) with Secure Lock Clip - Matte Black

Great fit with tight tolerance. Feels solid in hand and slightly grippy and smooth at the same time, while not too bulky. The carabiner is functional and securely clips onto belt loop or on any loops on my pack. It has passed a few drop tests so far without ejecting my AirPods. Note: the bottom half does not attach with a double sided tape, just the top. I accidentally returned my first case thinking it was missing the bottom tape. It also includes extra double sided tape for the top half of the case. I am pretty picky when it comes to fit, function, and quality of anything I buy and it checks off all of these criteria. I highly recommend this case!

The Good: - Nice thick case that adds a lot of protection than raw-dogging the Apple Case - Pieces don't include adhesive on the top, which makes it easy to take off and change cases - Firm and secure clip prevents accidental opens. The status light shines through very brightly. - Great cutouts for speakers, charging port, and lanyard loop - Nice to have the case stand up-right on either side - CHARGING WITH APPLE WATCH CHARGER, which was one of the features that made me buy this case. Awesome! The Meh (Not really a bad thing, just kinda annoying): - The thick profile might make it harder to place in pockets compared to other slimmer cases - The clip has to be compressed fully in order to close the lid, instead of pressing down with extra force. This makes closing the case with one hand difficult. - The included carabiner feels a little flimsy. I don't trust putting it on my keychain in fear of it falling apart. - High price point might defer some customers to other cheaper alternatives Bottom line: Great case that supports charging via Apple Watch charger and secure clip. Just wish the price was a little more reasonable. Do consider!

Bought this for my 14yr old son who loses everything. The case locks and has been perfect for keeping his airpods safe from drops and in a backpack. No issues and its well made.

The case works great. The fitment is perfect, and it's super easy to open even with the lock system. It can easily be done with one hand. It is a little bulkier than I was expecting, but I guess that just adds to the overall quality and durability of the case.

Fit great for AirPods Pro 2. This also came with a good carabiner clip but I swapped it for a NiteIze #2 that is lighter, more featured and it fit perfectly. Overall the case seems study and well made, i was concerned if the top part would hold on since it does not include any tape that other brands include. Overall it fits well. I really like that this has a locking tab, which is critical in my opinion. At firsts the locking tab was a bit rough to close but after a few cycles it now opens and closes easily when pressed. the case also charges well on a wireless pad and overall a good fit and finish of the product. I know there are few fully enclosed cases for the 2nd generation AirPods but that’s the only items on my wish list, we’ll see how well it holds up

This is a great product. I recommend it so much I even got one for my father in law. I drop my headphones and I am not gentle with my stuff generally. The build and quality is amazing. It closes with a clip that keeps the AirPods from flying out if you drop it. The grip is great, it looks rugged and it’s functional. I do not have any issues charging it with the MagSafe, so the magnet strength is also amazing.

The meat: There are some people who clearly didn't think things through when they put the case on, and that resulted in said users claiming that the lid portion of the case doesn't stay on as the pictures show. Clearly, mine does, and that's because the case has a specific orientation: the lever portion needs to be on the same side as the LED on the front, the hole for the lanyard attachment should go where the lanyard is, and the small and large cutouts on the bottom for the small and large speakers on the AirPods should nicely align (see pictures for orientation and examples of proper fitting). So anyone claiming that the lid piece doesn't stay on when opened is objectively wrong (again, see pictures for lid being open and lid portion still remaining attached in the images). If done properly, friction will hold both halves in place even when opening or closing and won't come off without some force. If you find that you put the case on wrong, you can get it out very carefully. First, attach the charging cable to your AirPods. Then hold the case firmly but gently with your fingers, and use your other hand to push upwards using the hard portion of the cable attached to the AirPods. Don't try and force it too much, go slowly and wiggle and jiggle until the AirPods come loose, or can be pulled out by hand. The potatoes: The AirPods Pro 2 case is great. Study, well built, slim enough to still fit into (most) pockets. If it can fit a phone with bulky case, it'll fit this case. This doesn't come with a carrying lanyard, so you'll have to supply your own. The carabineer is extremely smooth action, and super reliable. Also makes for a fun fidget toy. Probably one of the best carabineers I've used in my life. The asparagus: I've owned a Spigen case for the Pixel 4a that's been on the phone since release till 2022. Durable as rock. It's been dropped from multiple heights many times and it's still intact and kicking. Figured I'd buy one for the AirPods Pro 2. I don't regret it. I'll probably buy another of Spigen's cases or electronic device protection accessories again in the future. Mild gripes: the hinge portion of the AirPods remains exposed. It's probably very durable but a little surprising that it remains uncovered. Still, the case protects by having a few millimeters between the outside world and the AirPods so you aren't likely to injure the hinge at anytime soon unless you are really unlucky or deliberately receiving harm to your device. The Bluetooth connection button on the back is a little difficult (just slightly, not a huge game changer) to push down, even for my volleyballer/guitarist fingers. The spring for the lock mechanism is slightly too strong and feels like I'm fighting a mousetrap spring, so it makes one handed opening a little difficult. If there's a future iteration to the case, using a slightly less tense spring would make the lever feel buttery smooth. Too long; didn't read: Great case. Do buy it. Good protection, slimness, weight, build quality, and style points. Users are sometimes bad at figuring out that the case has an orientation, but please use my images as a guide for a correct fitting tutorial or checking if yours is attached correctly.

TLDR: great quality with some sacrifices for 2nd Gen Pods Pro Fits Apple Airpods Pro 2nd Gen perfectly, however covers the speaker/lanyard cut-outs and may reduce strength of magsafe function. For me these sacrifices aren't that bad considering this is one of the only latching cases I've been able to find from a reputable manufacturer (Spigen). I'm sure they are going to release an updated version in like a year or so but for now this case works perfectly for my needs. The design is very good. The plastic is lightweight and doesn't add too much heft and there is good padding in the rounded corners & front/back to protect from accidental drops. The latch is soft but made of good quality plastic from what I can tell so the airpods don't fly out and off a bridge or into a metro/subway track if you drop the case while they're inside. My one gripe with the design is the 'nub' for the external lanyard. It protrudes a bit but it can be safely cut off and the rough plastic melted smooth with a lighter (if you're up for a little DIY). However if you keep it attached the included mini carabiner is pretty good quality and allows you to flip the case around your finger/back and forth into your hand which is kind of like a fidget-spinner function, haha

Particularly liked the locker clip, but sometimes I find it hard to position it over the MegSafe for wireless charging. It’s not perfect but it does the job.
