Excellent product
Easy to assemble and sturdy. The shelves are very spacious so can fit a lot of stuff in your storage. The shelves are interchangable so gives you lots of room to assemble it according to your needs. The shelves are light weight so I was skeptical if it can hold the weight it promises. But I am very happy with it, as it holds so much weight. Even though it is light weight, once assemble properly it is not wobbbly at all. We have stored so much stuff on the shelf and it has been holding very well. I have one in the garage and there was water damage, the shelves got wet and mouldy but they are still intact which surprised us. We put them in the sun to dry it and cleaned them, they are still working great.

Good value for money; excellent service
For the money, this was a good product. The metalwork was properly deburred and the paint finish good (although it is probably impossible to avoid some scratching during assembly!) After service was excellent: shelves had got damaged and replacements were delivered the next day. All racks are basically space frame structures so are only really stable once they are all together. To minimise cost the metal members are comparatively thin and so can flex rather alarmingly, especially before the first horizontal layer is complete, but nothing broke or snapped off. Some suggestions based upon my personal experience: Although the vertical members are symmetric with respect to the fittings into which the shelf supports slot this is not true for the circular holes so if you want to bolt racks together or against a batten on the wall – or just use them as references to make sure the shelves are put in at the same height on all four corners - make sure they are all round the same way Build the unit as close as possible to its final destination and if you have to lift it do so as little as possible via the lower vertical members or it will come apart. Use a screwdriver to open up the holes before fitting the shelf supports in and to help guide the lugs into place on assembly. The foot pads don’t really attach so best put on bottom after lower half of rack is complete and before starting on the top half. The circular holes are just less than 6mm in diameter so 5mm screws work well to bolt racks together or fix to wall. For the latter I bolted the shelving using a metal washer behind the screw head to distribute the load and a couple of ¾-inch rubber tap washers to space the frames just off the brick wall. These washers come with a conveniently sized hole; if you are lucky they will grip the screws and not try to fall off! My compliments to anyone who can get a rack together on their own in less than an hour or two.

A struggle to assemble but good value, & adequate for the job
It’s possible to assemble these on your own (I did) but almost certainly easier if you have two people on the job, as four hands for some parts of the assembly would be better than two. I bought them to rack-out my garage workshop and organise things better, so now can easily find everything. The 600mm version offers considerably more storage space, so I would recommend that’s what you buy if you have the space to accommodate them: the smaller size takes the same amount of assembly time and work, but you end up with less shelf space. The frames are bolted together with short fat bolts, each with a corresponding washer and nut, so all you’ll need is the correct sized spanner and a thick crosshead screwdriver. Each leg of the frame has a push-on plastic foot with the same right-angle shape of the upright. These units are OK for a domestic garage or garden shed but not really suitable for a warehouse, where they may see heavier use. The frame comes with a push-in central supporting strut for the increased rigidity of each shelf bay, and this guarantees the shelves – which are MDF, and only just thick and strong enough for the job – will not bow in the middle. The frames, prior to the insertion of these support struts and the MDF shelves, bend and flex alarmingly but when the whole thing is assembled the result is quite rigid. You may assemble them such that the shelves may be at differing height and spacing, but changing this when the shelves are already in use, while possible, can take a while and some faffing about. Don’t underestimate the time it may take you to assemble everything. I bought nine bays of shelves, and assembly basically took all day, but if there were two of you on the job, it might be a lot quicker. For what they are, they are good value and will last well. I don’t know how the MDF shelving might stand up to a damp environment, because my garage is dry so that’s unlikely to be an issue.

Excellent Value, easy to assemble and bags of space.
The shelves arrived quicker than expected, full tracking details were given, well packaged and as expected. The shelves require no tools to assemble except a flat headed screwdriver. The units assemble very quickly and without the expected frustration that normally accompanies flat packs. Quality is very good for the price. I have used these in a large steel shed and they are very solid. I have found the more weight put on shelves the more stable they become but I would recommend anchoring the shelves to the wall, once this is done they are very solid indeed. The shelves fit large plastic containers perfectly, ideal for keeping items sorted and clean in a shed. Recommended for quality, ease of assembly and storage space provided. I bought from TUFFERMAN and had to contact them due to a courier issue (due to my rural location). Tufferman had the problem sorted within minutes and really provided excellent service.

Sturdy product
Good sturdy shelving, once you've built the first one it is much easier to do the others. See photo (I'll need to move the wall heater!)
