It really works
For months I have had tremendous problems with humidity inside my Skoda Fabia. I can’t see any leaks or anywhere that the rain can get in, but somehow, all the windows were steamed up most days and took ages to clear. Obviously, climbing into the car with wet umbrellas, shoes and shopping brings in a lot of humidity plus a fresh intake of very humid air from outside. With the colder, wetter weather, the problem got worse, and on a couple of mornings I had to scrape ice off the INSIDE of the windscreen. When the temperate was above zero one dry rag after another would becoming soaking, as I attempted to clean the inside of the windows. To this was added the cost of running the engine and heating for 10-15 minutes to get adequate visibility before I could drive away. An internet search unearthed this and I bought it. I knew that humidity must have got into the upholstery of the car seats (although they were not humid to the touch), so as soon as I dehumidified the air within the car, more humidity would of necessity come out of the seats, and it would inevitably take quite a few days to get the interior of the car and the upholstery completely dry. The day the dehumidifier arrived, I immediately put both sachets in the parked car, which had not been used that day. The effect was amazing. Within half an hour I could see a clear patch on the rear window. The next morning, I took one sachet indoors and put it on a radiator to “regenerate”, and left it there for 24 hours. Thereafter, each morning I swapped over the two sachets – one in the car and the other on a double radiator in the house. Every day there was a marked improvement, even though we have had a lot of rain, the car is parked in the open air and was soaking wet (or covered with frost) on the outside. After about ten days, the inside of the car is totally dry: no misting-up even on the wettest mornings, even when there is thick, hard frost on the outside of the windscreen and all the windows. Given the time of year (January at the time of writing this review) and the persistent rain and occasional very low temperatures, I will continue with my routine of swapping over the sachets each morning. Perhaps by the spring it will no longer be necessary. This has definitely solved the problem, and with a very modest outlay. It will soon pay for itself in savings on petrol (see above), as well as saving me the chore of de-icing and drying the inside of the windscreen and windows and the time wasted in waiting for the car heater to finish clearing them adequately for me to be able to drive safely. Recommended.

Worked great for a while, now I'm struggling to 'recharge' them
When I first got these last year I was amazed - they worked really well. My car windscreen went from being dripping wet every time I got into the car, to being dry and clear. They worked great for a couple of months of winter, and then the weather became warmer and the windscreen was fine anyway. However, a year later, they don't seem to be having as much impact. I've tried putting them on the radiator a few times, and even though they seem to dry out fully, but it's still not working. Maybe I need to just do this more often to get more of the moisture out of the car.

Does its job very well
Bought this, because like everybody else, when my car is parked up, the windows mist up from not being used in winter and frequently I get condensation on the inside of them which is a pain in the butt to clean off before I set off in my car each time! Before, I was wiping the mist and dampness off my windscreen and rear window with a clean towel (which I kept for these occasions) which did the job *okay* but not great - it eventually left smear prints on the windows and you could see dried droplets on it too which was frustrating and only made the windscreen look worse to look through. So on a mission to find a cure, I came across these dehumidifier bags here on Amazon, and going by the rave reviews on this particular set, I ordered up a pair for my car. What can I say - they work a treat! Seriously! Yet they are beyond easy to use, you just plonk them where ever you want them (in my case, in the car - on one the dashboard and the other on the parcelshelf)and they...just do their job, bloody well! When I enter my car in the mornings, there is no dampness on the inside of the windows nor is it misted up. I can just drive off happily now :) However, I reccomend that if you do put on on your dashboard, remove it from there before you set off, because it has a tendency to slide about when you go around corners lol. I'm right in thinking that after several weeks, they will need to be 'recharged' and you can do this by sitting them on a radiator for a while. I like to say that this was money well spent. £14.99 for a pair of these dehumidifying bags and they work a treat, as mentioned above. A bargain in fact! Also, the top of the bags have a felt-like feel to them and have a plasticy bottom which they sit on. The bags can also be cut into thirds, if nessesery, but I left mine the way they are. The delivery was speedy and the seller also gave me a tracking number to keep an eye on where my delivery was in the uk which is always handy (but wasn't expected). The only downside - which is a minor nag - like others have said, the text on the box it comes in is in German. This wasn't a problem for me personally because I could figure out what to do with these anyway. Overall, 9/10. Well done to the seller. I REALLY recommend these if you have damp and misty window issues in your car like I did :)

Seems to do the job
Seem ok - haven't had to use them much I must admit but keep in the passenger footwell so can just pop onto dash board when I get out of the car. Trouble is you cant really leave it in place all the time so you do have to remember to put it in place!

It works but is difficult to dry out and mount with velcro
Firstly, this is a good dehumidifier, its bigger than i expected and i imagine its size is one of the reasons why its good at its role. I rotate these daily, so when one is in the car the other is drying. My main gripes with it are that once its moist (moist to touch) its very difficult to dry out. I ve left one on top of a hot radiator for over 24 hours without luck. The other criticism is that it is described as being mountable with velcro tape. I tried with two different brands and the plastic material/fabric at the back doesnt stick very well to the glue backing of velcro tape. I think in very wet, moist environments this is probably more like a disposable, seasonal which will need replacing every year.
