I am a regular shooter and this is really useful for setting windage. It is a bit more accurate than trying to read the flags at Bisley.

I purchased this after considerable assessment of the various anemometers. I was reluctant to get the small meters using the CR3032 button cells and I was not keen to have the larger meters. This is comfortably small and light but is powered by three AAA cells. To my surprise they were genuine Duracell batteries. I tested the accuracy against my bicycle GPS whilst cycling to cause airflow. It gave reasonably similar readings. The thermometer also compares with the Garmin reading and as with all electronic thermometers you need to give time for the sensor to equilibriate with the surroundings. It's not an instant response that some seem unreasonably to expect. I like that it has a screw to secure the battery compartment as this ensures the cover stays in place and the batteries do not fall out. A basic No. 0 or 1 Philips should be suitable. I was a little sceptical of the reviews which mostly seemed to be from users chosen to receive the anemometer for free but can vouch that the meter performs well and is good value.

After 2 years of low use, the anemometer provides different read if you check the wind from one side or from the other, and even if both positions the read is smaller than the real wind, so it looks like it lost precision.

Acheté pour mon travail ( jardinier - paysagiste, élagueur et conducteur d'engins de levage) et mes loisirs ( drone , skysurf , tir à l'arc à poulie ) , j'ai enfin trouvé le Graal ! Mon '' précieux '' est précis sur les 3 fonctions ! J'ai testé l'anémomètre avec les 3 vitesses de mon ventilateur qui tourne de façon irrégulière ! Chaque variation est fidèlement retranscrire sur l'écran . La température : exactement la même que sur mon thermomètre utilisé pour mes orchidées , idem pour l'hygrométrie ! Étant également radiesthésiste ( entre autres) , je sais déjà qu'il restera aussi fidèle que moi !!!

En deze kan gewoon terug. Amazon heeft een fijn retour beleid. En Toptes zal deze moeten nakijken. Kan gebeuren toch..neemt dus niet weg dat dit een mooi artikel is en kwalitatief goed oogt. Met veel functies zoals vocht wind en temp. Kan dan ook verschillende maatstaven gebruiken en er zit background verlichting op.

This one is as good if not better than the one I used to use on the Fireline. Quick read, min/max is perfect for my area (Wyoming) If you want to know what your local wind speed is get this. Watch a video or read the manual, you will be able to see the real-time, min, max and average wind speeds.
