Warthog Classic II & A4 Ceramic Hone, Two Replacement Stones for the V-Sharp Classic II & A4 Knife Sharpener System, For Knives with Smooth or Serrated Edges

I love my warthog. It's a pull-through that self-adjusts for the correct bevel, and it allows me to use multiple hones so I can reprofile an edge and polish it, all with the same tool. It's not a high-end sharpener, but it sits nicely on my counter and it's easy to use. Mostly I leave these ceramic hones in it, set it at a bevel 5 degrees greater than the one I sharpened my knives at, and I use it in place of a honing rod. I think it's easier to use and more effective than my honing rod, and I'm happy with my purchase. BTW the reason for the 5 degree difference is so the sharpening happens more on the very edge. This is as instructed by Warthog. If I want I can put on a microbevel that is supposed to produce a more durable edge.

Works well but not for daily use. The stones dot last long. They def burn you when their honing stones cost more than half the price of their product.
