absolutely love these knives, so much so I went to buy another set but the system refuses to accept my age! Wish I were too young :-)each of the knives are extremely sharp and therefore can cut very delicately. Nice to hold and nice to use.

These were a present to my daughter. I already had several of the (tomato)knives that I use as part of my daily cutlery. My daughter absolutely loves them and in particular the biggest of the knives is wonderful. They are very well designed for comfort of use and the grip is non-slip. I would recommend not putting them in the dishwasher; this is not a good idea for knives in general as it can blunt them and leave watermarks on the knives, but in this case it is not too bad to do it occasionally. Be aware though that the knives are very sharp, which is great for working with them, but they will cut your fingers just as easily if you aren't careful. Great Product

Lovely selection. Sharp and easy to use. Not very sturdy, a bit bendy, but don't intend to cut anything too hard with them!

I had a KD serrated knife which I used for more than a 10 year period and was excellent. All I had to do was sharpen it once a week and I could use it for anything, cutting cardboard, thick cord and rope on packages or parcels, meat (raw and cooked), plastic packaging, fruit, chopping and basically anything you can think of. Somehow not sure how, it has gone astray and I felt totally lost without it and the KD Chef's knife I have is too big for smaller tasks. As a result I decided to try these out as love the idea of a smaller Chef's knife. I even used the middle size which is supposed to be a vegetable knife for chopping other fruit and veg and chopping frozen carrots and found the tasks a breeze. Oh, also good as a bread knife and to be frank, I am not sure if there is much you cannot cut with this particular one as it sits in the hand wonderfully. I have small hands and find it very comfortable.However, if you are in the habit of washing them by hand and leaving them point up in the draining tray, please be careful as the smallest one is a little bastard and very very sharp. I tried to pick up a fork and lowered my hand to get it from the draining tray and accidentally brushed against the smallest paring knife. It literally pierced my palm which has resulted in my placing them tip down into the tray. It is a hard lesson to learn but better than losing a finger tip!!!You will not regret buying these but please be careful as they really are as sharp as the other reviewers say.

These knives are great value for money especially the smaller ones, my favourite is the small serrated edge knife you can use it for a multitude of cutting operations.
