Fantastic. I was unsure about purchasing this kettle for quite a while mainly due to the price but I'm glad i did eventually get it. Very easy to set up on mine & my wife phone. It looks smart & complements the look of the kitchen. It can be operated manually like a normal kettle just by pressing the button on the base. I like the option on the app to check how much water is in the kettle & you can also get it to keep the water warm for a set period of time.Schedules can be set up so if you get up at around the same time every day or arrive home from work at a set time you can get the kettle to automatically boil.We have set ours up with Alexa/Echo which was very straight forward & all we have to do is say "Alexa, put the kettle on"We have also linked it up to a virtual button in samsung smart things/action tiles on our wall mounted tablets so as your walking past you can just press the button in the hall way for example to start the kettle boiling.Another automation i have set up is to have the kettle boil when i get up in the morning. For me every day is different so i hardly ever get up at the same time every day so have set up an automation that boils the kettle when the ensuite bathroom light is turned on between the hours of 4:00 & 8:00 am.The list of automations you could set up with this is endless as its also linked with IFTTT, you could get it to boil when you are parking on your drive, boil when you turn on your tv ect.In my opinion it's well worth the money & i wish i had got one earlier.

Great kettle until it wouldn't calibrate. Back and forth with the supplier for months as they would take weeks and weeks between replies. Final request was for me to record both my phone screen on the app and the empty kettle at the same time. I queried how to do this as I only have one mobile phone. No response since.Avoid at all costs as if anything goes wrong you're left high and dry with the item not being returnable to Amazon and the supplier couldn't give a crap about trying to help you fix your problems and just stop replying letting it fall out of warranty.

Great smart kettle, to start with it looks great on my kitchen counter. Wi-fi was easy to set up and the app is clear and neatly designed, you can tell a lot of work has gone into developing this.The app is really clear and does not throw a lot at you. When you open the app the first screen shows the water level and the temp with a sliding scale you can drag along to pick any temperature you want. It also has 3 quick set buttons, one set at 85 degrees for tea, one at 95 degrees for coffee and one at 100 degrees for boiling water. I’ve recently come to learn that anything over those temps and you just end up burning your tea bag or coffee granules.I’ve set it up to my alexa, again very easy, I did have a slight hiccup with this but after contacting the Smarter customer service team and realising I had skipped some of the set-up instructions it was all working fine.It even has a formula mode which heats to 100 degrees then cools to your desired temperature, not that this is of any use to me but thought I’d point it out. I’ve yet to try some of the other modes it has like the wake up or home mode but will update this review once I’ve used the iKettle for a few more weeks.So far a great smart kettle, I highly recommend it.

First off... can I say the customer service is awesome - 5 stars! Had an issue with my kettle and it was replaced within 2 days, Aaron was very helpful!Now the kettle (the working one), it was very quick and easy to set up to my network, looks good on the counter top and boils water fairly quickly. The features are good such as wake up alarm (with a slight noise problem - see below) and the coming home feature is very useful. It also has a baby formula feature, which I haven’t tried but does seem a good idea.The bits I don’t like and am hoping they fix on future app updates is you cannot ask Alexa how much water is in it and as there’s no visual way to see on the kettle, instead you have to open up the app and navigat3 a few screens to it or the kettle lid so a bit cumbersome. You can however ask Alexa the current water temperature and also turn it on and off. Knowing the water level is critical to me so this improvement needs adding urgently. Also within routines of Alexa I can set it to boil at a certain time but I’d also like the option to keep water warm like you get within its own app, and it would be handy to be able to voice control this keep warm feature adhoc. And the last point, in its own app when you do set a wake up alarm, there is no option to turn off the actual alarm noise so instead I’ve had to turn sound off in notifications setting of my phone otherwise I’d have a multitude of alarms going off in my bedroom the downside of this “fix” is I now get no sound when boiling is complete on a normal boil.All in all I am very happy with my kettle and a few small improvements and it could do everything I want!
