Great toy, cheap price
Great toy for the price. Bought for my daughter, 10 months old, and she is mainly closing the pop ups and sliding around pushing it but enjoys it a lot. I think she’ll get more from it when older too. Stickers on front were a bit scratched from storage / shipping. The top isn’t covered by the cardboard outer so that’s why. No real issue as will be played with throughly anyway.

A Fair Price
Good for price, although some of the knobs are difficult for little fingers to turn/twist, but 1 year old granddaughter loves it and it will support her in her development as she grows

A little clunky
This is one of those simple classic toys that young children love. The chunky plastic frame has four different types of button you use to make the farm animals - a hen, a sheep, a horse and a cow, pop up. Some of the buttons are more tricky to activate than others as one is a simple push button, others must be slid or rotated to work. The principle is very basic and can appear to be lacking in entertainment value to the untrained (adult) eye, but I have witnessed 2-3 year olds squabbling over this toy meant for much younger children. This toy appears to have been recreated several times as there are lots of versions out there Early Learning Centre - Pop Up Jungle Animals, Playskool Busy Poppin' Pals (Colors May Vary). The (older?) one we were familiar with from our toddler group was better made, as this one seems clunky in comparison. The buttons are more difficult to activate and the pop up flaps are not as nicely formed. The noise made when the flaps pop open is also a little too loud . However it is fairly good value as it seems very robust, and apart from honing button manipulation skills, animals to name, there are numbers 1-4 on the top of the flaps and colours to learn.

Cheap but Fab
Bought this toy for my 11 month old son, i had been looking for a toy like this for a while as i remembered by younger brothers having one and it being a favourite! I read the reviews about it being a cheap but fun toy and i cannot agree more! When i opened the toy i was unsure but as soon as i gave it to my son he loved it and often gets it out to play with - which is a triumph as normally the box is more interesting than the toy. Hes not able to pop the toys up just yet but he can certainly pop them back down after a few days of trying. Highly recommended, i think your childs reaction will review it for you!

Good product but not very sturdy
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 1 year old son and he loves it.Only draw back is he dropped it from the kitchen table and one of the springs inside has bent a little so now one of the lids will not spring open/close.Given this was the first time the toy had been dropped and it's a young child's toy I would have thought the mechanism within the toy would have been a lot sturdier.Enjoyable toy, but take care not to drop!

Disappointing , not robust enough for
I had a previous incarnation of this toy when my own children were young and it always caused much hilarity with young babies with its jack in the box "pop" quality so I was keen to get one for a collection of a few toys to keep at Auntie's house . It still delights the nieces and nephews but very much has to be supervised by adults now , I found the trapdoors tended to stick and had to be put back in place gently - not ideal for toddlers , mine may just be a faulty model but having bought it specifically as it was a favourite toy of my 3 kids it is now languishing in the toy box .

4 Jack in the boxes for the price of one.
Nice sturdy little toy, 4 jack in the boxes for the price of one! My 9 month grandson is very interested in this but cannot yet figure out how to open all of the boxes himself. He finds it sufficiently rewarding and interesting to persevere though. My adult children are drawn to this toy, they had it too. Little children do better with a single interactive task rather than the jangling light flashing music playing "don't bother me" elaborate monstrosities on sale these days. In this humble granny's opinion.
