Yes the spout does swivel, not too loose and not to firm. It is a great looking tap. We have it at work so you can image the amount of use it gets and the spout feels the same as when new.

How long are the flexi tails?

Not sure now, but flexi tails normally come in 2 lengths, not expensive and easily obtainable via a plumbers merchants.
