Got this to make YouTube videos as well as started trying to make our own unique hardware for the wooden furniture we made. This stove comes packaged well, is easy to assemble, and appears to be quite well made. For our YouTube video, we melted brass, copper, zinc, and aluminum and all three were very easy to do. As beginners, we have learned some stupid lessons. If you use brass ammo....check your stack carefully for live rounds..oops. also, don't try to stir the molten metal with tongs...we are now covered in copper and won't move anymore. we love it!

I opened the sealed box and noticed discoloration immediately, digging in further I found scrap metal fused to the crucible inside discoloration from heat on all parts and the interior of the kiln was dented and abused. I expected a new product, not a poorly repackaged used return. Not happy at all, there wasn't even a possibility of salvaging. Not what I wanted to spend almost $200 on.

This is a great kit to get started in melting aluminum and brass! Great customer service as well.

He hasn't used it yet but very happy to have it, it's his birthday gift and he can't wait to use it

Everything looked nice and good quality except one thing. The crucible had a big chip on the side. Then I noticed that there was no casting mold.
