Jolly Phonics Activity Books 1-7: in Precursive Letters (British English edition) Paperback – Import, 1 Sept. 2010

This is a really good set of activity books. I started teaching my son letters with Jolly phonics and purchased the workbooks to go with the scheme which are good but he gets fed up colouring and just writing the letter repeatedly. This set are colourful and have stickers to match, other activities to go and do, colouring and some letter writing which is just enough but not too much, a great set to start young children on, my son started these age 3 1/2 and they were just the right level, we did the alphabet sounds to start and he has just turned 4 and we are now moving onto the other sounds. He has picked up the sounds well and can blend the short words, these are at the back of the book and are a useful check of how things are going. Would highly recommend these and have done to lots of friends. Will be purchasing another set for my daughter when the time comes.

These are an excellent resource. My son had started learning jolly phonics - the letter sounds at nursery. I got theses to support him further at home. I’m so glad I did as then Covid-19 struck! The books are easy to use, colourful and have varied activities: colouring in, matching, games, letter writing practice and sticker activities too. I’ve recently purchased the Phonics Teacher Book and the Pupil Books 1-3 to improve my understanding further (I’m a secondary school teacher) and help the boy along under such strange times. If you know your child’s nursery/reception year are using this program, do purchase.

Very good work books, include good phonic activities. Only criticism was I received two number 5 work books and not a number 6. Only just realised a few months after my order was received due to just starting to use them.

My daughter is only 3, but is interested in her letters. The activities in the book are great for her, she particularly enjoys stickers so this is really well suited.As she's young I didn't want anything too rigid, this seems to suit her and us very well.

I work as a Nanny and have used these books various times. It has put each child in excellent place either in addition to school or preparation.It allows them to learn the sounds by remembering an action to a story. Which enables them to process it a lot more.Couldn’t recommend this set enough.

Bought this for my Managers grandson as he is going to school this year. He is enjoying linking up the books while listening to the songs from the song bookDelivery was excellent didn't wait to long.Would definitely recommend this whether your child is going to school or not. Every parent should have it. I would have give this more stars
