Nice size hand digging tool! I keep one in my saddle pack and my hiking pack. The edges are sharp but not so much on the handle. Some people wrap para cord around the handle to soften the grip. Very light and comfortable in the hand but quite sturdy. I’ve used this to dig small holes or just clear away brush.

Super light weight and it does the job. Just be careful how much force you apply because you can potentially bend it.

I wanted this trowel to replace my cheap, plastic one. I like its lightweight, metal construction. Perfect for hiking/backpacking. It does have one flaw, but it can be remedied. The manufacturer even mentions it on the product page, which I find helpful but odd. The handle is uncomfortable to use; the edges dig into the hand. If you need to use it for anything other than lightly digging a small hole for bodily waste on an above-freezing day, you will probably want to wrap paracord around the handle to prevent injury. Knowing the company is aware of this issue, I don't understand why it doesn't include paracord in the order. Some consider it another essential item for backpacking; it would kill two birds with one stone. Plus, it's honestly overpriced for what it is. Providing the paracord would be a nice touch. With that said, this is a great lightweight trowel overall, and I look forward to taking it on camping/hiking trips.

Sturdy, stiff yet very light trowel. Perfect to go with me in case I need to go. :) Although I have not used it yet, it is packed in my GO bag.

Lightweight cat hole trowel

Never underestimate the utility of this trowel, especially when you've eaten something weird and you need to make multiple stops on the trail. This thing is an improvement over kicking a hole in the ground with my boot, or using a random nearby stick. I haven't tried it, but I think it could probably be used as a tick puller too.
