Macks Aqua Block Ear Plugs

I have been having some issues with my ears recently and my doctor recommended wearing ear plugs for swimming and bathing - I did some research online and the Macks were highly rated, I can see why!I have tried many different brands of ear plugs and found that they either fit poorly or did not function as intended - not keeping water out of my ears.The Macks fit perfectly in my ear and they form a slight vacuum, they keep water out when I am swimming and they do not fall out neither. They are so comfortable to wear and I forget they are there, they do not feed odd when in my ears like some.There are 2 x pairs of ear plugs in the pack - they come with a small plastic storage container so you can see them securely stored away when not in use. The plugs are re-usable and are made from a soft silicone material which can easily be cleaned.These are excellent quality; they really do work and are the best, I highly recommend them - they are also fantastic value for money!

Great earplugs that work wonders in the pool. The silicon earplugs are extremely versatile and provide a solid barrier stopping all water from entering the ear. Brilliant.

My boyfriend suffers with eczema in his ears which causes ear infections and his GP advised him to buy some ear plugs like these.He used them a couple of times in the pool whilst on holiday and they seemed to work, no water got in to his ear. He had a slight ear infection at the time already but they kept the water at bay and therefore stopped the infection from getting any worse.The ear plugs are made of silicone or something alike and so are soft and easy to insert in to the ear. We found that twisting them in seemed to be the best way to ensure no water got in. My boyfriend said they were comfortable to wear and he couldn't even feel they were in there! We found the best way to pull them out is to squeeze the sides together (if that makes sense?) so it basically releases the air lock that's been created.They also come with a hard plastic case so you won't lose them whilst they're in your bag etc.My boyfriend is very happy with them and he will always use them while swimming from now on.Please let me know if you have found my review helpful or not. So far so good! Have been using these for about a month now and they work great at keeping the water out. It may feel a bit weird if you've never used ear plugs before as they insert into your ear canal. Just follow the instructions on the box and you will be fine and shouldn't feel any discomfort when putting them in or taking them out. If I wear them for about an hour during swimming, they do start to feel a little uncomfortable, but I think that can be solved by adjusting how far you put them into your ear canal whilst keeping them working as they should.

I just use these in shower after ear infection and doctor told me not to get wet. So they work in shower but i dont think they will work for swimming as they do fall out easy but i dont know for sure because i haven't tried it. What i will say is get coloured ones, the purple for example because these are hard to find in shower when they fall out and you will never find them in pool. Comes in a handy box which is good. Item arrived on time and in good condition.

So much better than all the top brands, alot better fit/size/shape.I suffer terribly with me ears and i also use a swimming headband to keep my ears extra protected..... even in the shower.

They are fabulous! Blocked water very well with determination. And comfortable to wear them . I bought them in 2021 and now 2025 . This doesn’t mean that they last so long for the frequent uses as I used them occasionally but I did use several times in a year . As far as you don’t loose them which I now did , they seem to be durable too . I hesitate between the string attached version but bought another with cases . These are truly great.

I just bought a spare pair of Speedo Ergo earplugs - my first and original pair are still going string after close to 2 years - I swim 100+ times a year - typically 200 lengths per swim so they have had a lot of use. If anything they fit better now than ever having moulded slightly to my ears and gained a certain stickiness (as opposed to the smooth manufactured surface they are now looking used/worn) that means they feel like the are very secure in my ears. I did buy some Macks Aqua Block earplugs - they are longer, thinner and flex very easily and simple don't seal in my ear canal or stay in however hard I try to press or screw them in - I mention them as it might be useful for you to know that if you've had that problem with the Macks, the Speedo Ergos's might suit you better.
