Arcadia ACR30 Dry Vivarium Controller, 25/30 Watt

I bought this too replace a identical unit that finally failed me after over 10 years. It's running a 30w 90cm tube for my Bearded Dragon no problem at all. Some people who are leaving reviews on here saying it does not work should try replacing the starter too see if that works?

Easy to install

This works perfectly for my setup. Only annoying thing is actually attaching the lamp it’s quite a snug fit on either end of the lamp and it’s getting the pins seated completely before turning it on and finding out they are still not connected. Have to press them on and wiggle into place quite firmly. But once on they work.

I am very pleased with this purchase highly recommend

It does what it’s supposed to do

Line the pins on the light bulb up with the holes on the socket and push on not too hard, then just wiggle it back and forth whilst applying pressure to properly fit it and it should work. Can be a bit tricky

When product arrived it clearly had a previous owner. The box was clearly already opened and the parts inside were not clean nor were they new. Some parts are missing a screw inside and the battery rattles about with tiny movement. Also the device gets very hot so hot it cannot be touched, after speaking to other reptile experts this isn’t right and a brand new device does none of the things above. So I had to buy another somewhere else...
