JOBYGripTight ONE Mount for Smartphones - Black

I've had the gorilla tri pod for years, but due to the photo quality of phones these days my SLR spends most of the time in the cupboard. To come across the holder for my phone which fits my gorillapod means I can produce long exposures yet again. A fab little find which has added new life to me once redundant pod.

This fits perfectly onto my 'JOBY GripTight Suction Cup & GorillaPod Arm for Smartphones'. I stick it onto my car window and it holds my phone so that I can use Google maps etc for navigation. The original JOBY mount has just snapped after 5-6 years of use so I bought this to replace it. It screws on very easily and is almost identical to the original - it looks to have slightly thicker and more sturdy pieces at the sides where it holds my phone. It's holds my iPhone 13 Pro perfectly and I imagine it is versatile enough to fit most phones. Probably should have got black as that might look better but my kids were with me when I was ordering it and they said to try white for something different!I definitely recommend this product!

I previously had a generic branded phone holder like this that has broken. This Joby feels better quality and stretches out to fit larger phones. It also folds flat when not in use which is really handy. I just wish it had another mounting point for portrait.

Did not expect much from this. However it did the job. I Dropped my manfrotto tripod with it mounted on the plate. Tripod broke but it did not! When folded it is small and fits in the camera bag. Does exactly what it says on the tin!

Highly recommended, very compact and sturdy and works well in landscape mode with my Huawei P30 smartphone in a bulky armoured case.It folds down really small but still feels solid and for me this is ideal. I can carry it in my pocket or rucksack top pocket with a compact Ultra Pod mini tripod when skiing, hiking and climbing and not even notice it, so perfect for a tenner!It's a well designed and well made bit of kit. The only negatives are that it only works in landscape and not in portrait mode and is expensive if you pay full price.I"m very happy with it :-)

I didn't particulary expect much when purchasing the Jolby GripTight One mount for Smartphones. The images on the listing made it look cheap and Chinese made which led me to believe that it would be poor quality and would eventually break. Never-the-less, I decided to give it a try as my Gorillapod is also made by Jolby and that is excellent.I must say I was pleasently surprised. The mount is of good, sturdy build quality and fits on the gorillapod very well. No problems with fixing an iPhone X to the mount and will serve me well on my travels of SE Asia.

I bought this product alongside the Joby SLR-Zoom Tripod & Ballhead X, all of these pieces work very well together. The GripTight ONE Mount holds my phone (iPhone 6) very well, it holds the phone best without its case on, but is slightly less secure with a leather case on. The mount connects easily to the Ballhead X, then the orientation on the actual head can be adjusted & then can be left the same once it's been tightened properly. This is my least favourite part of my purchase, although it is a very good piece as well. I bought the pieces separately, which made it significantly cheaper.Note I am not a professional photographer, so those who are might have a different experience with it.

Bought to replace one that broke after many years of use, seems to be the same quality as the original so it should be durable enough but it's about three times the cost at time of writing as the original one cost me, which feels overpriced.Nonetheless this is a good way of mounting any phone (even the larger devices, I use it with an iPhone XS Max) on a tripod and handily folds flat so it takes up next to no space in a bag or even comfortably fits in a wallet.
