Untwist Tool PRO-COMBO Quickly Separates CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, & CAT7

We bought two of these Untwist Tools as we are a small cable assembly house and have lots of twisted wire jobs. This saves us lots of time on these twisted pairs of wire. One device stopped working after 2 weeks. I contacted the Seller and was pleasantly surprised at the quick response! Without issue, I was asked to send the unit back for either repair or replacement. I received a reply the day the return was received. They were unable to repair it so they sent a new unit. We are using this and it's working great! I appreciate such excellent customer service!

Great Tool Time saver!!!!

I bought this device because I had dual carpal tunnel surgery. As an IT manager, I thought it might take some strain off my hands. For me unfortunately, it just added more steps, and no less strain. I hope for others it works better for them. The product seems to do what it claims, just doesn’t work for me. Giving 4 Stars for that reason. The product works as advertised, just didn’t work for me

Anyone who has ever had to untwist and straighten CAT 6 or higher knows how 'great' that feels on your fingers. This takes a majority of the pain out of it ... untwisting is a breeze, and the channels on the tool make straightening the wires just as easy and quick. It's a little pricey, bit 100% worth every penny.

I bought it for a project I have at home. It took me 25 connections to really be able to use it proficiently and fast. Overall I am glad I bought it and I would give it 4 starts if it wasn’t for one the heads keeps coming apart no matter how many times I tighten the set screw. The other head is fine and it hasn’t giving any problems for 20+ connections so far. I don’t know if it bad design or a have a defective part but besides that the tool really saves a lot of time and pain.

It's fast, it works great, and for the most part it holds a charge. It does take some time to learn to use it proficiently. Once you learn though you can get all 4 twisted pairs untwisted and flat in about a minute or two. I don't consider the price fair, especially since you're mostly paying for the bit. However I also don't leave home without it, and it paid for itself in hourly wage savings the first week I bought it

I don’t know what I was thinking. Untwisting the wire pairs when terminating cables is not hard - it is the easy part. It is straightening them and inserting them into the correct channels that is the hard part. This thing really doesn’t help with either of these tasks, and it is more trouble to use this thing than to just untwist be hand. I say this even though I have rheumatoid arthritis. I have watched the training video over and over, and I can tell you that this device is worthless. I have been working in the IT structured cabling business for years, and I regret wasting my money in this thing. They got me at a week moment I am afraid. This was a waste.

Fantastic product, im I fiber tech and I make ethernet cables all day and this tool has made that job 2x as fast I highly recommend it
