Great fun
I LOVE building these and have built a 8 different models. But here’s what you need to know. The metal is thin and delicate. The assembly process can be fiddly and complicated. A high level of dexterity is required and a lot of patience. I would recommend buying wire cutters, tweezers and needle-nose pliers. The instructions are clear and illustrated and Metal Earth can answer can of your questions if you’re confused. I get such a sense of accomplishments and love how difficult they can be to build!

Fantastic and Novel Products
I bought this and other products from Metal Earth for my nephew's 40th birthday as he used to play with larger versions in his early years - well, what else can you get a man who has everything? He absolutely loves the intricate and nostalgic model kits and has them displayed with other Star Wars and Transformers models. I'd thoroughly recommend them as a gift.

great present
superb present as it takes a couple of hours. Though would be good idea to purchase some small snipper plyers so metal can be cut out.

Could Do Better!
I purchased this model as a Christmas present for a friend who is into light modelling and for around £10 was a kind of novelty stocking filler. However once it arrived I realised it was quite a bit smaller than it looks in the photo. I did give the Optimus Prime as a present and was later informed that the recipient had sadly failed in making the model due to it being so small, fiddly and flimsy. I wished it was twice the price and twice the quality and twice the size...I am sure so many of these models are now sadly in bins everywhere.

Great purchase
Something different to try, think it could be hard but really looking forward to making it. Also a big fan of Transformers so this is great!

Time consuming
The pieces are very fiddly and delicate. Many of the pieces broke but that may be down to my heavy handedness. Definitely worth a go though
