Night Sounds (Noisy Books) (Sound Books)

Great series of books
We have a few of this series, they’re a really nice set of interactive books. Given the nighttime theme, I chose this particular one for bedtime. The illustrations are lovely and features one different sounds per page.It can take a few tries for my one year old to press the buttons, but the key is to hold the book firm!

Amazing colours and sounds
The book is very detail-heavy, which can be a bit overwhelming at first. As the child grows you can enjoy finding different new things he/she hadn't noticed before. Sounds are realistic and very well played. I would just say the colours were a bit too saturated for my liking as I prefer more realistic depictions but the kid loves it (he's over 2 now and is just starting to look for and distinguish the details. Before he used to breeze through as it was too detailed and colourful).

Amazing quality
The media could not be loaded. My toddler absolutely loves this book, as you can see in the video and pictures the book is very well made and the sounds are very crisp and clear. The panel on the back of the book is easily accessible when it comes to changing the battery. Highly recommended to any parent. Hope this review helps guys.

Grandchild's new favourite book
My 2-year old grandchild loves this. I like it a lot, too (just as well, we read it rather often!) but I find it frustrating that one of the double page spreads is given over to morning - and there aren't that many pages, so I thought it would be better to stick with night sounds. Not that little one cares at all.It has owls, bats, a fox etc - all good. It also has sounds you may hear better at night, though they happen all day - a train and the church clock chime (I find it annoying that it chimes 3 but the clock shows midnight!) So on the whole a very good buy.

Beautifully illustrated book
This is a very beautifully illustrated book with lots of things on each page for a child to look at and also has different textures. Sounds are high quality and the buttons are very easy for little fingers to press. I also like the fact that its got a on/off switch at the back. I will be looking to purchase more in the range.

A lovely book, but perhaps not one for reading at bedtime!
While the book is lovely, several sounds are quite sharp and piercing and make our boy jump--not ideal for settling down at sleep time!As well as that, more than one touch point triggers the purring cats, instead of what they're supposed to, be it bus, train, birds, etc. Trying again once or twice does finally get the right result, but it's not the greatest experience. I think this is just owed to having a Friday afternoon item rather than it being a poor book, as the overall item is really nice. Just not well suited for bedtime.Edit:The sound confusion appears to have resolved itself, possibly as a result of using reach button a few times. Grade adjusted accordingly.
