A:Yes, it is waterproof and you can use it in all weather outdoors.Q:Can this be used an 240v if i buy a plug adapter?A:yes, It comes with a standard 120 volt (NEMA 5-15) plug, you can easily make an adapter for a 240 volt outlet. Or you could cut the plug off of the cord and install a different plug, or even hard-wire it to a junction box. The power cord is about 1 foot long, so you have enough cord to experiment a little if needed. At 1200 volts, this charges 2012 Nissan Leaf in about 12 to 14 hours, at 240 volts it only takes around 5 to 6 hours.
