I purchased 2 or 3 of these add on handsets for my auto repair business. This is the second set I've purchased in the last 6 years. The first set had the same options but had an older product number. It was almost identical to my first set. These phone are hands down the best phones I've used at my business! They are very reliable even though the handsets had been dropped numerous times. They lasted longer than any other phone system I had prior to my first set. I was very pleased to see the new colors and construction upgrades to this system. I'm looking forward to using this system for some time to come.

This item is good looking, solid weight, and I was thrilled when I opened the box. HOWEVER, it was recommended in conjunction with the phone system I purchased at the same time -- it was shown as the "add-on handset" to expand the system I purchased ..... IT IS NOT ..... I am sure it will work fine with some other phone system, but it DOES NOT WORK with AT&T CL82321. Additionally - while the return process for this item was easy and absolutely no problem at all, getting the add-on handsets that do actually work with the phone system I purchased was a total nightmare .... after more than 30 minutes of 'chat' with 4 different CSRs, I gave up and ordered the handsets CL-80131 directly from telephones.att.com

Hard to find the items needed to use these 2 purple phones. So disappointing. Wish I could buy the answering machine in purple too. That will let my phones work.

This phone with answering system is wonderful. It was easy to enter numbers into the directory and set up the answering system. The screen is easy to read. The tone clarity is excellent. It was not difficult to mount it on the wall.

I would rate this phone 5 stars if it was for the sound quality. People can hear me fine but I had a hard time hearing them. Distorted and Siri/static sounding. The volume level is fine. The EQ settings didn’t help with the quality. I actually preferred the bass than the treble settings. I love that the caller ID and name shows on the displayed at the same time. It’s a very user friendly phone and straight forward. The phone is very attractive. The phone I’m trying to replace is an older 15+ years I think model at&t. It was back when the 6.0 first came out. Basic features and the sound was always great. Best phone ever however I’m having problems keeping it charged. I’ve replaced the batteries a few times and they aren’t as good or the phone has just been used to death. Not sure why they haven’t been able to make another phone with the same sound quality since. I tried just about all the at&t phones that either came with one or two handsets and they are all the same. Although my original at&t sounded great and another brand I purchased (I hate the features and the volume isn’t loud enough but comes in clear) I decided to take this to my parents and connect it to see if I had any interference and the result was, it was just as bad there.

Yes, it was perfect. I purchased this to use at a Condo rental on Kaua'i for two weeks. The phone in the unit is a Stone-age analog phone. Not cordless, no speaker in base or handset. I'm talking about Alexander Graham Bell technology. This phone was inexpensive and perfect for my needs.

I ordered three of these phones on April 7, 2018. I just pulled them out of the box yesterday (May 18, 2018) to set them up. Only two of the three phones work. One is broken. The display screen is blank and doesn't light up, despite the fact that the phone is charging properly. Unfortunately, my window to return the defective phone through Amazon ended on May 7, so I'm stuck with a non-functional new phone. So make sure you test the new phone right away so you don't get stuck with a lemon like I did.
