It’s a beast
So first of all, this thing is large, like someone else on here mentioned it’s about the size of an adults forearm, and has the weight to boot. The switch dial to control the light mode is super handy compared to many Nebo lights (and I have many) that make you cycle through to get where you want it. Compared to my Torchy 2k it’s like shining a headlamp vs a floodlight, the davinci 18000 blows it out of the water and then some. The davinci is blinding to look at on even the lowest setting, and I don’t dare look at it on even medium. The strobe mode on this runs on the turbo setting and would absolutely stop anyone dead in their tracks, definitely no toy as on high it’s hot enough to light paper on fire (tested and proven).I would say my one gripe to the design is that you have to extend the magnifier to the zoom mode to charge it, though this is only a very minor inconvenience. All in all if you want a stupidly bright flashlight that’s very well made and that isn’t outrageously expensive, this is it.

AMAZING!!!! SUPER BRIGHT!!!!
I researched flashlights for about a month looking for one that was super bright and won't make me go broke from the price. I finally decided on the nebo 18,000. And I will say, I am not disappointed. This flashlight is awesome. The first thing I did when I got it was turned my lights off so it was dark and turned the flashlight on. It went for couldn't hardly see anything to almost had to squint my eyes it was so bright. Then I kicked it into turbo mode and I swear it was like I was outside at high noon. One thing about it that I'm not sure if I really like or maybe kinda don't like. It's pretty big and heavy so you know it's well made. I can see in the future it might be too big for certain uses but that's small composite to how awesome and bright it is.

Good light, nice and bright.
With the floods here in Kentucky recently and traveling at night this light has been helpful. Bought it just because it’s cool, but nice light to have.

This flashlight will not zoom in to a spot like you think it will it's more like a flood light
Don't get me wrong this flashlight is bright but fairly useless when it comes to a spot when you focus to a spot it is very wide and I was very disappointed and the money that I paid to light up the whole property instead of what I want to see with a spot. I was disappointed in this and the fact that it does not run very long without being charged. I feel like I wasted a lot of money on a product I was misled on stating it would focus to a spot but it's more like a flood. I own four other Nebo flashlights and they are great and that's why I bought this one but this one not so great I feel like my money could have been spent elsewhere on a better product with this many lumens

Just WOW
You could say it’s very bright but I will say it’s Stupid Bright. I will carry this as a weaponA quick look into this light from any distance is very uncomfortable and short of it hurtsJust wow. I may have to buy one for each vehicleFirst weapon is its intense and immense brightnessSecond it is a perfect clubIt is very well built and durable

Big, seems solid, not that bright
It's bigger than I expected, that's for certain, but I like the size. It also seems VERY solid. Its relatively expensive price tag, its size, its excellent build quality and its claimed 18k lumens immediately sets expectations. After turning it on, I almost immediately wondered if I should return it. Like other reviewers, it's difficult to accept that it's outputting18k lumens. I made sure it was fully charged and tried it again the following night, same effect, and confirmed disappointment. For comparison, I bought a Fenix HT30R LEP which outputs 500 lumens and it feels brighter than the Nebo. To be fair, the Nebo has a broader spread versus the Fenix which has a specifically narrow beam.I also own a Fenix TK47UE which outputs 3200 lumens and I can easily say that one clearly outperforms the Nebo.If you like a big, well built, impressive-looking torch and don't mind paying for it, this is a good one for you. And it is bright. But I'd compare it to getting a top-of-the-line Italian sports car with a 1.5L V4 engine under the hood. Looks fantastic, and it'll get you where you want to go, but it doesn't have the performance you'd expect.4 stars for build quality, 2 stars for performance, 3-star average.

Lights up the night
I’ve been a fan of Nebo for many years, this one does not disappoint. I live on my sailboat, I use this light when docking at night, picking up moorings, etc. You’d think that for something like a flashlight, reading the manual is a waste of time, but with this one, you’d miss out on a key feature: turbo mode. Long-press the button while it’s on, that cranks it up to 18,000 lumens for 30 seconds. Beyond that using it is basic to use. It’s rechargeable power pack consists of 3 standard 26650 cells in series, nothing proprietary, so it’s ultimately serviceable if/when the batteries wear out.All in all another high-quality light from Nebo, they really do it better than the rest.

A Security Guard's Dream Flashlight
I work as an unarmed Security Guard, this flashlight has been a life safer allowing me to navigate through warehouses at night and find leaks to call attention too. Any other flashlight eats through rechargeable batteries like crazy, not this one; you get what you pay for, but from how much I spent on rechargeable batteries with the other brands, I could've had two of these flashlights instead. Literally never leave home without grabbing this flashlight and it also is the first item that gets charged over the cellphone. The grip I threw out, I also wish they made the color black instead of gray. lol.
