Lifesaver.
This tool works great. I have 3 Mazda 3is in my Turo fleet. I've had to do shocks on all 3. Usually I beat them from the spindle with a sledge. While I still needed the sledge, this tool made it much easier, leading to less damage of other components.

Worked for it’s intended use.
Surprisingly it worked for what I bought it for. Seems cheaply made and that it would break before it spread the struts. I have used it on two projects now. Neither time did it break. I give it high marks for its function, not for perceived build quality.

works great we were worried with it being a cheaper tool, but have used it multiple times and has not failed us yet

Well made, no sharp edges.
Well made for the price point, easy to use and with minimal effort will spread the knuckle to make inserting the new strut easier. Still a snug fit but so much easier and less smashing with the hammer.

It's strong, but because it's so thick, it's not very useful.
