2nd time buying as first one broke due to brother hitting g it off the ground but other than that, sound quality is good, son loves that it comes in a bag a d that you can get many colours in it. Plays as it should although not to well at the moment 🙈

Nice looking recorder and I do like the effect of the twin colours. The zipped black case is good, though quite a tight fit to actually get the recorder inside it. The 3 pieces fit together well and are not loose. However to my ear, not every note is in tune, so that's disappointing. When I played the recorder years ago, I had wooden ones, so this is the first plastic recorder that I've purchased and played. For the price, I guess that I ought not to expect a mass produced recorder to be perfect and perhaps some of them may be perfectly in tune. Will probably pass this one on to my youngest grandchild, as she won't have a clue that's it's out of tune.

Oh yay, the school wants my 5 year old to have a recorder, whoop whoop. Someone kill me now. If we go into lockdown again this thing is going in the fire or up a music teacher’s backside. However as far as torture equipment goes then this is great, looks good, sounds like a cat being murdered by an owl as it should, robust enough to withstand me hurling it at a wall a few times yet still has not smashed, and child and teacher are happy. Can’t wait for the concert to hear 30 of the things going. There’s a special place in hell for whomever invented the recorder and whomever then decided all 5 year olds must have one. Funny though, I still remember London’s Burning 40 years after having to have one myself at school. Played it to my parents and saw their eyes twitch with a PTSD tremor. They then muttered something about karma and laughed that I have 2 kids while they only had me. Send help.
