I'm taking care of both of my 80yo elderly parents. They both have Alzheimer's and my dad with diabetes. Their circadian rhythm is off with both of them combined. Apart from having their bedroom door and bathroom door connected to a sensor alarm, I also needed this bell on the fridge so I can guide my dad in grabbing the right food and drink. It wakes me up. He drops things now. He'll try to cut open a bag of bread and didn't want him to injure himself. His doctor did say that the progression of his memory loss, he'll need supervision at all times. Finding one of these compact cuties in a price range for me was a challenge, there are so many $50 and up! This one sounds good & it’s styling works for me!

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve had this on my fridge door for a few months now, and I love it! Nice crisp sound, smooth wood, and securely stays in place. My teenage kids hate it, and already found ways to silence it (like getting the ball out of the bowl)! Lol 😆{If I’m opening and closing the fridge a lot, while kids are still sleeping, I simply rotate it slightly to the side, the ball then rests against the bowl and doesn’t make noise.}

The media could not be loaded.  Cute little bell, luckily the order of my door is metal so the magnets are GREAT! It has a nice tone that is not too loud or too soft. Obviously (as with any bell), if someone opened/closed the door very slowly/softly - they could enter without making a sound. I have not had any issue with someone entering without me hearing it. It is "loud" enough (the pitch/tone) that I can hear it in my back room without a bunch of other noise going on. It is nice that it does not continue for a long duration. It is enough to hear but short enough to not be annoying. I like this bell and have received multiple compliments on it as well.
