Berlitz Language: Flash Cards German (Berlitz Flashcards)

I was really surprised to see how good the cards are. The 50 cards are a set of everyday words (fruits, animals, colours) and numbers ( 1 to 10). I wish there were more words because using cards is another efficient way of learning a language. The cards are solid and large, with the English word on one face and the German translation on the other face. It is definitely good for beginners and toddlers (3+ years). i will surely recommend it for beginners.

Excellent way of learning my daughter is finding it fun. As German is one of the languages required for school. I am also learning German with her. It deals with everyday words.

Learning German with the grand-daughter and these are a fun way to build and check our vocabulary.

The cards are sturdy and colourful and am using with some success with a nine year old, with a little German knowledge. I would have liked the English words to have "the" in front of them, as the definite article for the German words is important to know. They are shown for the German words, but In English it goes without saying, everything is " the". In German, however, it needs emphasising that "der", "die" and "das" do matter and make a difference. Just a little thing, but if you progress with German, worth understanding the importance. Otherwise, they did take quite a long time arriving, but not a big thing.

Arrived in brand new condition. The cards are a really good size and value for money. I wish they were a bit thicker but still a good price! Our toddler is responding well to the flash cards and connecting the words to the provided images! Danke!

Awesome for kids to introduce the German language

Teaching on the side and these cards are quite nice.

I know a little German from 30 years ago, and my daughter was interested in learning. I wasn't disappointed. She really enjoys sitting down and playing games with me... She tests me, I test her. For the price, it's not a bad introduction to a new language.
