Absolutely disgusted as I paid almost £30 for a pack of 3 but only 1 comb was in the packet!! Total rip off!!!

You need to hold the nit combs to the light and clean the nit eggs out with a hand sewing needle which you then wipe on a paper towel and put in a ziplock bag. Soak combs in boiling water with Dawn dish soap to remove hair product and other hair debris. I find using the combs on dry hair more effective than wet hair. Yes you will lose a bit of hair probably the 100 strands you would have lost anyways. Get a prescription treatment since thé over the counter products are ineffective. Don’t bother with wasting money and time on thé over the counter stuff just tell your doctor you have tried the usual stuff and get a prescription and make sure they give you a prescription for two doses for each family member. I recommend the following from the CDC website because it kills both the eggs and the lice. You will still need to comb out and check. Yes head lice like head to head transmission best so no selfies with head squashed together, shared combs and hats, however once live lice land on the floor they don’t sit there and say, “Oh I have fallen and can’t get up.” They crawl up the nearest persons leg and up their hair and make themselves a new home so you do need to vacuum the floor. Spinosad 0.9% topical suspension Brand name* product: Natroba. From the CDC website. Spinosad is derived from soil bacteria. Since it kills live lice as well as unhatched eggs, retreatment is usually not needed. Nit combing is not required. Spinosad topical suspension is approved for the treatment of children six months of age and older. Repeat treatment only if live (crawling) lice are seen seven days after the first treatment. I had to do my research and tell my doctor I wanted this product. My doctor was not familiar with it. Even after using it you will need to remove the nit eggs from your kids hair and clean your environment throughly, vacuum the floors, thé bed, drawers, wash all the bedding in hot water 130 or above and dry sheets twice on the hottest setting. I also recommend ironing sheets and pillows daily after vacuuming if you don’t have time to wash and dry in dryer. You will also need to wash all coats, hats and backpacks. As an added measure you can get a Rigid Shop Vac 15+ gallons with hp of 6.5 or higher with a fine dust filter made with Hepa materials and vacuum bag for fine dust collection to vacuum your kid's hair and space. This type of vacuum has far more suction capability then women’s vacuum cleaners and cost far less too. You can even purchase the Rigid EPA approved vacuum for lead removal that uses HEPA filter. Yes you heard me correctly vacuum your kid’s hair or have them do it on their head wherever they feel the bugs crawling. It won’t suck up the eggs but it will thé live bugs. Do this for at least a half hour on dry hair daily. If they feel bugs moving again after stopping have them start again. Be sure to have them use ear plugs to protect their hearing. Have them read a book while doing this. Attach a ziploc bag with rubber band to the end of the vacuum to keep everything inside after they are finished vacuuming. Prevention comb everyday, vacuum hair everyday, use a blow dryer. Have kids throw coats and bags in hot dyer for two cycles. Bag their clothing upon arriving home and seal it. Have them shower and change into lounge wear. Vacuum the entire house especially bedrooms and bathrooms. Have the kids do as much of this as you can. Lice is gross. I hope this helps people deal effectively with this.

If you are looking for lice removal you need this. Other combs are not worth it. Buy them and test it if you don’t believe me and you will see what I am talking about. As a mom of four dealing with lice for the first time IN MY LIFE, I absolutely needed the TERMINATOR. I bought two more just to have them around just in case. They effectively removed the lice, they gripped the hair to grab all the nasty buggies, they felt sturdier than anything I received in and gel/shampoo kits, and honestly that value was priceless. Other combs were basically metal sticks where this comb had grooves that caught the nits and lice and pulled them out. I appreciate the reviews on the gels I bought that recommended this comb otherwise I think I would still be fighting them. BUY THIS COMB.

This gets out nits! AND Lice! Did I mention this removes NITS?????? It doesnt kill them, but it gets them out. hot water to rinse this out in the sink or gently using ur fingers can help get them out and kill them. TLDR: When the notice for lice exposure arrived from my son's school, i didnt give it another thought. His hair is so short - his scalp is seen all over, no way for lice to survive there in a shower i thought. 6 weeks later, the notice forgotten, with my own scalp itching, I thought....dryness...winter.....and saturated my head with my conditioner for several minutes. When rinsing off, in my hands, an adult lice came off my hair. Thats it! I began the hunt for lice. Boy, i wondered HOW even I got it. Combing like crazy for hours, with my old lice comb, at night and morning everyday, and using Nix (my scalp was totally irritated after), I still had no peace. My scalp was itching and I was extremely unclear when and where the exposure had happened. Finally out of sheer frustration, i did my research online and ordered this lice comb one night. Next day, as a precaution, I combed my son hair after saturating it with oil. Wow....behold an infestation. Hair was still short (he has a haircut every 4 weeks), and yet, there were several adult lice and nits all over. Right after an hour of this discovery, and the comb down for my son using my regular lice comb, this terminator comb was delivered. I immediately opened it and ran it through his hair. One stroke, and my son, who, by now was freaked out, said : "mom, this thing is getting it out. I can feel it the way its pulling my hair". "Did it hurt?" I asked. "No, its just combing very thoroughly". And then, I saw the comb...OMG, saturated with nits and lice. I ran to the bathroom, and 30 mins later, I was confident my son was adult lice free and mostly nit free. As a precaution after combing, I also used the "Schooltime Shampoo for Super Lice & Nit Elimination" and then combed his hair again. Day 2: oil application, terminator comb use: found some more nits but no lice. Kid showers his hair. Day 3: repeat. Found 1 nit and no lice. Kid showers his hair. Day 4: repeat. No nits and no lice. Kid showers his hair. After Day 7 of clear hair, I am repeating this every other day only. And after a month, I will check twice a week. And we will stick with that. Using this on myself later, i was confident I too was lice free since it got nothing. For parents everywhere - whether you have boys or girls, get this comb. Run it through your child's hair after adding some oil, everyday for just 2 mins. If the comb is clean, you are good. Whatever shampoo you use, combing is a must and this one is amazing. I wish this comb was available when I was a kid. Boy it would have given me back months and months of my life, spent in combing out lice and nits, and being unable to keep my hair long!
