Keeps sounds and light out
These work great and keep the noise outside. We used these for my son’s room, so when he’s sleeping a lot of noise doesn’t come in and they work great, they even keep the light out. Very easy to use, you can cut them if needed so it can align with the door. Very durable and sticks really well.

TEXAS HEAT CAN'T GET PAST THIS LITTLE BEAUTY!
Living in Texas with dreadful late spring, early summer heat already breathtaking, I saw my electric bills just skyrocketing. I knew I needed to do whatever I could to keep the usage down and one of them was to plug the gap under my front door letting precious AC dollars out every minute. I researched and researched until I came across this particular door draft stopper and decided to give it a go. It was everything it claimed and works like a charm! One slight challenge was wrestling the third foam roll into the sleeve, but I used an extended back scratcher to push that little sucker into place! After that, the install took about a minute! It looks great, stopped the draft, and it's a top notch value for the money!

Blocks drafts well, but not so much sounds. Overall - would recommend.
I bought this for two reasons: to block the draft from the ridiculous 1.25" gap between the bottom of our bedroom door and the floor; and for soundproofing purposes since we just moved into my mother-in-laws house to take care of her, and since we're both night owls we didn't want to disturb her after she goes to bed. Since I couldn't decide on a single rating for both of my purchasing reasons, I'm eating each reason and then taking the average of the two for the number of stars this thing gets. For the purposes of draft blocking, I give this product 5 stars! It blocks the draft completely, the difference was immediately noticeable. For the purposes of sound blocking, 3 stars. Sure, it is obviously better than having nothing to cover the enormous gap between door and floor, but it isn't ideal. It would be much better if the foam insert was made of a heavier/ more dense kind of foam. Also - and this is really probably only relevant to my needs I suppose, but whatever - if the thickness (diameter) of the foam insert was larger, I feel like it would be far better at soundproofing.Overall, the quality of materials and build seems pretty good, it's easy to cry it down to the exact size needed, the adhesive on the velcro strip that goes directly into the door works very well (assuming you follow the directions properly and use a blow drier to warm the adhesive immediately prior to use, that is), and it's quite easy to install. Would i recommend buying this? Definitely!TLDR:Draft blocking: 5 stars. Soundproofing: 3 stars. Overall rating: 4 stars. Wish it was thicker... (that's what she said) - THE FOAM, wish the foam was thicker. Would still recommend though!

Works even better than anticipated!
Purchased this to seal the bottom of a basement door having a carpeted floor and no threshold. The door is a standard interior 6 panel, so conventional sealing solutions, such as threshold sealers, are not applicable. Materials for this unit are good quality and will last for many years. The length is much more than necessary and easy to cut for a perfect fit and seal. The velcro strip has a super-sticky backing. Also, velcro attachment method is a brilliant idea, as it allows for re-adjustment to find the perfect amount of pressure to block drafts.

These work good.
I live in a mobile home and all the doors have a 1 1/2" to 2" gap at the bottom. To help on the heating/cooling bill I wanted to block off those rooms and these helped stop the air from escaping under the doors. They were easy to install and work good.

Not what I expected. Not recommending for larger than 3/4-1” gap.
First off putting the foam into the sleeve was more of a chore than it should have been. The pictures make it look thicker than it actually is, the whole thing actually flips under the door as I swing it open, so I’m Leary as to how long it will be before it starts falling off. It’s supposed to block 1 1/4” gap, it’s barely blocking off 1”. I already cut it to fit so returning it is out of the question, so I’m going to see if I can make some modifications to make it work.

Beyond my expectations
I live in an apartment where you can hear everything down to the breathing of the other person rooms over. The walls themselves are relatively thin, but that huge gap underneath my bedroom door certainly didn’t help in the slightest. Made it feel like any conversation, or even movement in my bedroom was being heard by the entire unit. My bedroom didn’t exactly feel like a very private space.Going into this- I didn’t expect a whole lot, but figured it was worth a shot. Installing was very easy. The most tedious part was finding a height to where my door was able to still open smoothly without much resistance of it rubbing on the ground, but that was an easy fix with the Velcro aspect. The sound proofing? Incredible. Beyond my expectations. Certainly not completely silent, but LIGHTYEARS better than before. Not to mention my room finally can hold a steady, cooler/warmer temperature than before after sealing that huge gap beneath the door.Cannot recommend this enough! Got a two pack and will probably install the second on my front door of my apartment for hallway noise/drafts.

Easy to use
When I bought this I didn't think to trim it before installing it which definitely complicated the process, but even so it looks great and works well. This draft stop, comes as a set, and I did trim the second one prior to installation. I very highly recommend measuring and trimming before installing. I've already opened and closed the door a few dozen times and it hasn't moved at all. The Velcro is plenty reliable and even held up to me vigorously trimming the first side. I don't actually know how well it will reduce the noise, but it definitely helps keep the cold out. When the product is flat against the floor it is very easy to cut and trim. The only thing I actually didn't like is that it's folded in half to fit into a smaller box, and you have to manually insert the foam on one side. Otherwise it's a good quality set and the foam is plenty thick enough to keep the air in or out depending on the purpose.
