Potent stuff I used it to strip paint from an alloy wheel and it's very easy to apply and gets to work almost instantly. I applied the product left it for 5 minutes then power washed off the flaking paint,. 2 applications and it was down to bare metal a quick wire brush and prep and I was applying new paint an hour after opening the can.

Works fast, brilliant product. May need a couple of coats on stubborn / solid paint, but it’s impressive non the less

Used this to strip the paint off a Reynold's steel bike frame. Did the job pretty well, you'll still need to finish the job with sandpaper or an angle grinder, but it'll get most of it off. It's probably not as good as the brush on stuff, but it makes up for it in how easy it is to apply.

It starts to work straight away and layer by layer you can strip paint certainly. I wanted to strip four alloy wheels but I might be lucky to get one done before it runs out. It will take hours too. If you want to work on a smallish job and there are tight spaces involved that are difficult to sand then this will be invaluable.. if like me you want to do more then the time and expense will probably mean it’s not viable. Be prepared to have to scrape and clean and reapply again and again but in some cases it will be well worth it.

I usually consider Hycote a bargain brand but to be fair this product did exactly as promoted. The nozzle is decent and I have not had any problems with the end clogging (something that happens frequently with cheaper spray paints). I have been using this as prep for leather products ready to paint and it has worked well for that purpose. Buy with confidence.

Product was effective at removing paint from my ugly storage heater. Fast working and bubbles up easy to scrape off.

I used this to strip my metal gate posts, the paint was already bubbly and peeling in places and a good deal of rust. I thought they were going to need removing but I thought I would give this a go first. Before I had finished spraying it on the posts the paint was rising up. I wrapped the posts in bin liners and left them for 30mins. I scraped them with very little effort then used a wire brush. There were a few small patches of paint so I repeated the process and job done. Treated the rust and primed ready to repaint. They look great so £10.00 spent and saved a few hundred.
