Welsh Valleys Humour (It's Wales) Paperback – 3 Jun. 2004

Though only about a quarter of my blood is Welsh, it is my favourite part. I love everything about Wales and her people and I have met many Welsh folk who have been delightful to converse with. This book gives a very good idea of how funny the Welsh really are. Great humour isn't just an English trait but is spread evenly throughout these islands and I definitely include Ireland in that. Having said that, this book demonstrates that Welsh humour is quite unique in some ways and I recommend it to anyone with a gramme of humour in their soul. It thoroughly brightens up a world which has become quite dark in many respects. All power to the Welsh!

Very good full of humour

Good read for a valley man with a sense of humour. bit of mystery to others

Brilliant book for someone who is living in a foreign country (England)! I laugh whenever I dip into it although I bought it for my husband. It is spot on with observations of Valleys Welsh and it makes me very nostalgic even while I am laughing my socks off. As we say "It's tidy".

A simple, badly written booklet. Welsh humour for the very few!
