I think the weight and components of this bike are pretty good. These are the loaner bikes at my local track. There are some chain line (chain rubs the chain stay if you don’t do this) issues with the micro mini that require the removal of one link. Other than this I think it is a good buy for $250. When kids are so young it doesn’t make sense to sink $700-$1000 in their race bike. I also wish it was specced with some thinner tires. 1.125 would be better than 1.25 for a micro mini. Overall though, a good bike. I would buy it again.

This bike is MASSIVE. Ordered a 20” bike under recommendation of professionals and my son was already riding a recreational 20” bike. Found this in stock so ordered it as his starter racing bike and was not impressed. The bike looks ok. Seat angle is intense, we bought a second, adjustable seat for practice use. Handles always come loose and twist even when fully tightened. A totally waste and impossible to return without shipping costs. For reference, as a 5’7” adult this bike fits me. Unfortunately for my son we’ll have to keep waiting to find another racing bike.

I'm 5'11", 240. I wanted a BMX, even though I'm 46. That's what I always liked to ride back in the daytime. I don't want a 24" cruiser BMX. I'm elated with this purchase. This bike will last decades. I won't have to get another bike if I don't want to. It fits me just fine (21.75" top tube on the XXL version). It doesn't feel small, it feels like the perfect BMX for a really tall youngster or a big old, big-body cat like me. Public service announcement: you're not supposed to spend too much time on the uncomfortable seat it comes with, you ride a BMX standing on the pedals for speed, shock absorbtion, balance, and all that. I still bought a seat and a layback seat post (27.2mm) for when I get tired. You don't need a tool to adjust the seat height. I want to ride this thing all the time. It's TOO fun. And it looks so good (the stickers were easy to remove). This bike is worth the money. Knowing what I know now, this has got to be the best value out there for a brand new bicycle. This Chinese factory is the real deal. I had to send a Diamondback back before taking a chance on this 'goose.

Lightweight, could have better assembly instructions but for the price and quality I won't complain. YouTube had sufficient assembly videos to get it together.
