Strong flame
Flame is TOO strong! Could even be dangerous. Yes, I have turned it down to the weakest setting. It would be great for lighting a BBQ but not for indoor candles. I do not recommend this item.Update Feb 2018: A strong flame has actually turned out to be very useful. If you have very big pillar candles deep inside a cloche then lighting them with this lighter is a breeze.

I bought this mainly to use for candles in my burner, does the job easier than others being flexible.Is good has a lock switch and able to turn the flame down, has a good strong flame even turned down.Arrived before state date. good value and pleased with the product. Thank you!

Like a mini blow torch - superb
Superb, very good effective mini blow torch ideal for lighting wood burners and bar bi when weather returns, the product is powerful and effected at staying lit - just be aware that lighting some candles eg ones encased in glass it can melt the wax as very powerful.

You "DO NOT" Get a Clipper Lighter
The picture on the listing intimates that you get a Clipper Branded Lighter, you get nothing of the kind but instead get what is shown in the pictures - I started a return but as it is from an 3rd party seller selling through Amazon it is not as straightforward as you may think so didn't bother. The lighters do work, but the flame strength adjuster doesn't work so you have a handheld blowtorch rather than a lighter & the product ais terribly misrepresented by showing a picture of a Clipper Branded lighter. Why would they show a picture of a different lighter than what you actually receive? Doesn't take a rocket Scientist to work that one out.

Great for beekeeping
Use it to light my bed smoker. Works a treat as the gas jet is strong and because the nozzle bends you can see what you've doing in the smoker.

Great product
Very pleased I bought this lighter, it’s great for lighting candles in jars as they burn lower down in the jar.
