Toddlers are messy, period. These have efficiently helped maintain several outfits clean while we were out as a family or just at home, eating messy meals like soups or pastas with red sauce. They are thick and waterproof, allowing any liquid to spill and fall into the long pocket at the bottom. Just be sure to empty said pocket out or wipe with a paper towel if your kid is an active eater (swings arms, twists/dances, etc)!It might be tricky to get one on a toddler if they’re new to it, but since we have had a set of these (the smaller ones) since ours was born, our toddler is used to it and knows where to shoot arms through. It becomes easier to use with time. I love how functional the arm loops and neck velcro are. In terms of durability, it has survived many a washes since the purchase of any of the sets. We do, however, mostly hand wash and air dry, only running all four that we own through a washer cycle when all four have seen better days (think paint, grease and markers).I love that they come in a variety of stylish colors - we picked the grey/navy blue set as well as the pink/maroon set to match with the outfits she regularly wears.

Big fan of these. They’re easy to take on and off of my little one. It does leave a mark on her wrist due to tightness. But nonetheless it keeps food off her skin. Easy to clean off and dry!

No food gets through, and it stays in place well.It’s super easy to clean — we’ve washed it both in the machine and just by rinsing with soap under the tap. It dries quickly, and even messy foods like pasta sauce or curry don’t leave any stains.The only small drawback is that the food-catching pocket doesn’t really stay open — it lays flat, so food doesn’t always get caught in it. But overall, it still does a great job keeping clothes clean. Definitely a must-have for mealtime!

Tried other brands that were cheaper and more in a package but these are worth the money. The length is long enough to cover baby's lap and full sleeve and neck coverage. Easy to wipe clean and dries quickly. Thick material which helps protects outfits. The pocket catches all the mess without folding over. Overall a must have for every meal time with 6mon+.
