I could tell this is a quality product from the moment I opened the Amazon carton. Instructions are clear and accurate. The build quality of the cameras and the other components is excellent. Everything fitted and installed exactly as it was meant to. The picture quality is just stunning even when viewed on a large monitor and easy to download clips from the camera to your phone via WiFi. I'm not really using the AI functionality but that's hardly a criticism. What really mattered was when I had a small issue the support from Miofive was prompt and resolved quickly with no fuss. This feels like a proper company. Have recommended it to family and friends and will definitely look for products from this company in future.

Great car cam. Annoying voice can be silenced if wished. Both front and rear picture quality super. Set up with wiring included easy. I intend getting the hard wire kit for this to tidy things up.

The worst dash cam I have ever come across. The build quality and software is rubbish. It's got a mind of it's own which means it will only work when it wants to. Please stay away from this product. The only good thing about this is the box in which it is packed. I bought this in December last year but only just started to use it for the last few weeks. I paid nearly £300 . I thought mio and miofive are one company.

Works very well, very pleased with it. However, the camera developed a fault and stopped working, for reasons unknown, after 10 months use. Miofive sent a replacement within 3 days. Working well now. Thank you Miofive for your excellent service.

Good units, clear video, goodish app, but no way to turn off the REALLY irritating pseudo Yank voice which NAGS a lot. I DO NOT need to be nagged when the car in front releases his handbrake to 'keep up'. I have a Y chromosome left seat passenger for that.

I recently had an issue with the Miofove dash cam I purchased through Amazon after 7 months of getting it. I contacted Miofive directly and was promptly looked after by Franklin Lo. 5* support I would say very polite, extremely professional and had a warranty replacement sent out to me very quickly. Straight to the point no messing about quality customer service from Franklin and also Miofive support, surpassed my expectation for level of support I thought I'd receive

I put it up next to my old dashcam and ran them both side by side to compare. My old one was a DDPAI imported from China several years ago. I honestly couldn't really see any difference in video quality. The most convenient features of my old camera which this doesn't have were removable media and the camera itself could be pulled off a magnetic mount without unplugging. This one would be a right faff to unplug the cable and remove the camera to put it out of sight. Partly because it's probably designed for left hand drive, just by the orientation of where you stick it to where the camera is and where the cable is. I also don't need a screen on the camera itself, with the camera tucked away behind the rear view mirror and set up with an app (the app is a bit of a mare) and you shouldn't ever need to look at a screen so that's a bit of a waste. I tried hard to see what the improvement in quality has been in the last possibly 8 years but it wasn't enough to justify itself so returned it.

Purchased this camera the other day, after installation it looks brilliant, very clear display and very easy to set up and use, I've used the hardwire kit which allows it to run while the car is parked which is a bonus. Would definitely recommend

This is the first time I've installed and used a MioFive dashcam. Previously I've installed Kapture dashcam, and have been relatively happy with them, although there often seemed to be software issues. After reading reviews, I tried the MioFive, and couldn't be happier. Very simple to install, and everything worked straight away. The software is simple and logical. I've been using it now for 6 weeks, and haven't had an issue. The only thing that might turn people off is that the hard drive can't be increased with a memory card. I drive for 2-3 hours a day, and on the default settings (4k front and 2k rear) I was getting 4- 5 days of video. I've changed the front to 2k now, which still gives me good video, and a few more days storage. Very happy with this product.

I have been researching a true 4k dash cam for my Subaru Forester Sport, and I have found the perfect one. This Miofive 4K dual dash cam perfectly fits my needs. The one that sold me the most is that it uses an eMMC internal memory card that supplies 128 GB of storage space. No need to buy extra memory for it to be corrupted in the future. Also, the internal eMMC is faster than a conventional micro SD and can last 10x as long for reading and writing. Another sell-out point for this dash cam is that it uses the new Sony Starvis IMX415. This camera module is better in low-light situations than the old IMX335 that other companies are using. My car has a very dark tint (45% in the front and 5% in the rear), but as you can see in the video, the images are very bright and clear. I guess Miofive can achieve this clarity because it has seven sets of high-light lenses, perfect for capturing footage in nighttime driving. I also purchased the hardwire kit so I can utilize the parking mode. Lastly, the microphone for recording voices/music is very clear in my opinion. I think the only thing that’s missing for this dash cam is the CPL filter. I did reach out to Miofive via email and they said that they are working on this add-on for their existing dash cams. I am hoping to see this particular device in the future.

Easy to install and set up. Lots of wire so I could run it around where it needed to go and hide it. Great resolution. App is easy to use and set up. I barely notice it as it's set up between my windshield and rear view mirror. I've been running it for about a month and really like it

Been using it for a while now. Day recording is no issue at all. At darker or rainy conditions the quality isnt as good, obviously. Connecting to camera is easy, download files as well is a breeze. Hard connected, car battery seems to be ok with it, no drainage spotted yet. Parking mode is a bit of a hit and miss, cant figure out how and when it starts to record. Tried all different settings. In parking mode it doesnt record 24/7, it rather wakes up when smth happens around the car. Rear camera is decent enough. So overall really happy with it.

I love this dash cam and have been using it for about four months. Some cons about it are first the fact that you must be in the car connected to the miofive wifi to view and download any video footage on your mobile app. This is something that I am hoping will be upgraded in the future as they further develop the app and technology. Another issue I had was I went to check an accident that happened behind me and the rear footage was missing, was like a chunk of time gone of several hours. The front camera captured everything but the rear footage was just not there. I troubleshooted for two days and could not find it. The last issue I had was after using a sunshield while parked, the hardware that connects the front camera to the windshield glass became warped on the inside and it now hangs at an angle. I live in Florida and have not been using a sunshield at all since out of fear of trapping too much heat around the camera for too long. The camera system still works completely fine, but it is just the mechanism that holds the camera became melted or warped (see video) causing it to "dangle". I contacted miofive email support about all of these issues and someone replied within a day offering to send me a whole new, upgraded version front and rear camera setup that withstands higher temperatures FOR FREE. It arrived a few days later and I was not expecting that at all. I am beyond pleased with the customer support from Miofive and very grateful for them sending a newer version. 11/10 would recommend this brand to anyone looking for a reliable dash cam. PS I also purchased the hardware setup to have parking mode enabled and that works flawlessly as well. Video footage stays in the app for about 3 days before it gets looped over. Incase anyone is wondering, the new one they sent is "Dash Cam Front Rear, Miofive 4K Front + 4K Rear Full HD Dash Camera for Cars Built-in Wi-Fi Bluetooth GPS with FREE 64GB microSD Card(S1-Ultra)" that withstands higher heat temperatures. And they sent an additional 256GB card as well as the 64GB!!! I would have originally given 4 stars because of the minor issues but due to the amazing customer support, Miofive gets 5 stars <3
