Good fit
I bought 2 for each shade as the plastic reducer the shade came with was useless.Best to use one on top and the other underneath. Perfect grip now.

Size
Was hoping for a larger size than standard light fitting to hold a handmade large light shade. However these are normal size.Does what it says on the tin!

Very sturdy and easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for an old lamp, I recently purchased a new shade and it wasn't compatible with the lamp, with this little adapter I was able to install the lampshade I liked.They are made of metal, very sturdy and durable.Very easy to use, just as this rings and the lampshade of your choice on top

These work after a fashion
These discs do hold the shade in place, but I have had quite a job getting the retaining ring back onto the threaded section of the bulb holder as it has to go on top of two of the discs plus the shade.

Replacement for B22 plastic adaptor ring.
Works well on my B22 ceiling light fitting.Previous plastic adaptor ring was distorting and beginning to fail.This metal adaptor ring should eliminate the risk of the lamp falling to the floor.Simple but effective. 😊Recommend - would buy again in preference to the plastic type.
