We were looking for an alternative to Jeyes fluid, which has become horrendously expensive. Having read good reports about Mistral Odourfresh, we thought I would give it a go. We were greatly amused by the very different fragrances on offer, but didn't think Baby Powder or Bubblegum quite suited our environment! So, we plumped for Eucalyptus, and what a pleasant, clean and reassuring fragrance it is...we like it very much.Odourfresh Pet Disinfecant / Kennel Deodoriser 4x5L Standard The product is very effective, and successfully rids the dog area of unpleasant odours. It is also good to put in the rinse when washing dog bedding, leaving it fresh smelling. We will definitely be buying this product again....Jeyes can keep their overpriced disinfectant - this is just as good, at nigh on a quarter of the price!

I read the reviews before I purchased, and emailed to ask if all 4 could be the bubblegum scent. I was not disappointed!! On day of arrival (which was within days of ordering) I made a strong solution in a watering can and went all over my doggies wee area (thankfully they do try and keep it all up one end). After half hour I hosed it down. Since then I just keep a milder solution in a watering can to use when they go to bed for the night. The wee smell is completely gone, even on a hot day we can't smell it. What we can smell is the bubblegum fragrance which is quite pleasant. When they poo on the lawn (they do usually save that one for when they are on their walks), I just doggie-bag it and wipe the lawn with a cloth dipped in the diluted disinfectant. Our doggie lawn is all astro-turf, and we have two Newfoundlands. Neither the astro-turf or the doggies have been affected. The scent is strong even though I have just a mild solution made up. No other disinfectant has eradicated the wee smell. Well pleased with this, and once all the other cleaning products I have are used up I will be only be using this - because it works and I like the scent!

I have arrtificial grass in my back garden and I have tried everything to get rid of the smell of dog urine including biological washing liquid, Zoflora , Jeyes , and even the very expesnisve "specialist kennel cleaning" agents. This is the only one that has actually worked and not just masked the smell but actually removed it. It really deos work.I have a large area of grass and on first clean I used the following method:Mix 1 litre disnefectant to 5 litres of water in a watering can. Spread it liberally over the grass (an area of around 10m2).I had to do this 5 times for my area as it is approx 50m2. Allow it to soak for around 1/2 hr. I then "watered" the fake grass where i had spread the disnefectant with the hose and sprinkler to wash it through the grass. Smell was gone. I allowed my dogs on it (i have 5) 1 hour after i had washed it.I do this once a month for the whole garden but between "full washes" i use an 8 litre Hozelock pressure sprayer (which i keep in the shed already made up) on the areas the dogs wee on and wash it away with water.I cant beleive the amount of money i have spent on trying to find a solution to the smell issue. This is the only one that has worked.

This has been a lifesaver in our house as we have a rather old border collie who is almost blind she has been having little accidents for some time but now they are almost daily. Normally we would have stuck with lavender as its a fragrance both of us find pleasant but this time we bought two lavender 1 eucalyptus and 1 lemon wow both of these are wonderful but the lemon is amazing it covers up doggy urine and general doggy house smells and leaves the whole house smelling lovely. I used it first alongside my carpet shampoo in my three in one machine and it was very effective. I then used it alone in machine following a pretty bad accident overnight and the difference is amazing I could actually see where I had shampooed and where I had only used disinfectant which was much cleaner and fresher looking. Will be buying more from here in future.

So I bought 20l in 4 fragrances. They call to ask which you' d like. Green grass was my favourite followed by eucalyptus and lavender. I'm just starting with lemon but hey it's lemon what more can I say? It was used to keep my kitchen smelling fresh whilst my dog had her puppies. Used neat it is virucidal (kills viruses) and and antibacterial (kills bacteria) after a 10 minute contact time, dilute with 4 parts water and it's just antibacterial, dilute to anything as low as 99:1 and it's a deodorisor only with a 2 minute contact time. I used it in all strengths once or twice a week neat but we were cleaning 4 times a day so at this strenght the floor looks greasy at this strength so rinsing with water after helped. Long term we moved to mostly antibac strength and this seems a happy medium of ok look, good smell and some reassurance the kitchen was still clean. I used a squeeze bottle that you can get other 'direct to floor' floor cleaners in and refilled. Seemed to work well for us. I've used all over the house on the hard floors, tiles and laminate. You can even use on items food use if needed but I didn't. What I did find great was putting it neat into the washing machine to clean dog towels that the pups peed on. A slosh in the prewash and or conditioner slot and the towels stopped smelling of pee that had been evident after normal washing for just a couple of weeks before I bought this. Those towels are all super clean and fresh now I'd be happy to reuse them myself I had to!

I bought 4 different scents/varieties...freshly cut grass, eucalyptus, pear drops and cherry. So far I have used the freshly cut grass and the pear drops...the freshly cut grass is very good, has a nice scent and leaves the gravelled dog toilet area very fresh....the scent doesn't linger long, but the gravel smells clean. The pear drops is disappointing...it is very sweet smelling and mixes with the smell of urine to leave a very unpleasant smell on the gravel that does linger!It will be interesting to see how effective the other scents/varieties are.
