A bargain
I have been using Kaspersky for years, as it does not slow my PC down and efficiently keeps all the nasty viruses and other intrusions at bay. Every year as Kaspersky gets to a few weeks from expiring, it begins to remind me (bang on about) renewing it. If I did what Kaspersky recommended, it would cost £44.99, but renewing the licence from Amazon cost less than half of that..... waheeeeeeey. Certainly Kaspersky is easy to "drive" and does not hog resources from your PC. It also has tools to check vulnerable applications, update software and various other useful tricks. Occasionally it warns me of the risk of visiting a particular website and certainly our PC's just run for months on end, trouble free.

AMAZING VALUE FOR A SUPERBLY-BRILLIANT PRODUCT!
On the 9th of January I placed an order for Kaspersky Internet Security 2019. And so, having made use of Kaspersky over the years it does indeed operate fantastically-well. I have used other anti-virus software products over the last 10+ years, but I believe it to be (Kaspersky) the best performing one. It offers protection (of course) from all different types of viruses, of which can be harmful to your computer, potentially being in a state of vulnerability. So staying protected allows for the continued smooth operational running of my Laptop on a daily basis. It does indeed perform to the desired effect, so I’m very pleased with the purchase. There were (if I remember correctly) 4 notifications (2 Windows & 2 Kaspersky) I needed to disable (constant irritating annoyance), but I managed to find a way of doing so. So yeah, the purchasing pricing-cost of £17.44 (delivery charge costing £2.99, with the overall expenditure totalling to an amount of £20.43) is amazing value for a superbly-brilliant product.

activated a few days ago - works!
I bought this a while ago, and loaded/queued the license code on my existing Kaspersky account. One device (main desktop PC) simply 'rolled on' with the new year of protection immediately the old license expired, with no further input from me. For the other two Kaspersky-protected devices (laptops), I had to log them on to the Kaspersky account and initiate download. (Why the difference?) Having a new license already 'queued' did not stop Kaspersky from spamming me with emails about how the world would end if I didn't buy another license direct from them! Interesting how their 'last chance' price offers changed ... the lowest one was the same as I paid here. Over the years I've got pretty fed up with the tactics of the big A-V companies if you try to do anything other than start an automatic direct debit - high priced - subscription with them.

Product does what is says on the tin, but installation 'Nightmare on Elm Street'
My previous KIS was still connected and this prevented/blocked me from entering new activation code, and consistently guiding me into purchasing another far more expensive Kaspersky product. Grrrrr. Eventually after many hours/days of mega frustration and failed attempts to activate this new package, I finally removed the now expired previous version from my programs. Following which, as a last resort, I downloaded a Free Trial package which at last enabled me to enter the activation code and install the new software. I have used Kaspersky for several years now and never encountered this problem before as it was always possible to buy a renewal package that contained a CD with an installation Wizard, an option that is no longer available. I totally agree with the analogy of another frustrated customer who suffered the same problems 'it's like going to a restaurant and having to cook your own meal'!!! As with all massive conglomerates Kaspersky Customer Service is just a convoluted online waste of time, offering no real time resolutions. Anyhoo, no thanks to Kaspersky, all is now working as expected.

Good AntiVirus does a good job
One of the best antivirus software packages at a good price... just dont forget to keep it updated. Sometimes prevents verified by visa popup thus requiring the use of temporarily disabling protection to complete a purchase online.

Only buy this if you want to have your bank details HACKED
I never normally feel compelled to review things online. But in this case, I feel I have to warn others - Having previously used Norton for a long time, I changed to Kaspersky only because Norton was making my laptop fan constantly run at top speed/used all the CPU. This is partly because I have an older laptop, and because I know that Norton is always running in the background. I foolishly thought I could manage without the constant scans and decided to get this Kaspersky Internet Security package - as due to illness I have to shop a lot online etc. sp that's the protection that matters most to me. Anyway, to the point -within days of installing this, I had my mobile phone account details online hacked and so proceeded a scam that involved me spending hours on the phone, panicking and I still don't know if I'm out the woods yet, so to speak. Instinct told me that it was a scam, but still I was duped (such clever scumbags these days) Long story short, with Norton I have never had to worry, have not been scammed ever, and I am willing to have my laptop get red hot and sound like it's going to take off it means my details are actually safe. Pay an extra ten quid and get the Norton one for gods' sake. Wish I had!
