This is a cool gadget, and it works well for what it does, but I was hoping I could use it on an aquarium drip system to monitor the amount of water going through the pipes, but it isn't sensitive enough for that. Oh-well, it still works great for monitoring flow rates that are a little higher, like normal faucet flow rates. I still use it for water changes to keep track of how much water I'm moving, and it works great for that. Good product, no complaints on workmanship. Even though it doesn't fit my specific needs, it's still a five-star product!

We had new trees planted that required a specific amount of water during the first 12 months of growth. We could use a five gallon bucket, which we did the first time we watered them, or buy something to monitor the gallons used for each tree. We are so glad we bought this! Super easy to keep track of the gallons used and saves the back! Well worth the money if you need to track gallons or other measurements of your water use.

Purchased this unit awhile back and finally used it. It would turn on but never showed a flow. Could spin the propeller but it didn't read. Reached out and was sent a replacement since it was within 1 years of purchase. New one works great. Very easy to use and read, especially if wearing rubber gloves like I am when using. Highly recommend.

I wanted to know how much water my tree was getting with a soaker hose. I wasn't sure how accurate this would be at low flow rates so I tested it by filling up a 5-gallon bucket. The accuracy seems better than the quoted +/-5%, even at a flow rate around 0.3 gallon/minute. FWIW, then soaker hose flows around 3.5 gallons/minute which was higher than I expected.

My motorhome has a 70 gal fresh water tank that I fill before each trip. To avoid overfilling - and causing all kinds of expensive problems - I need to know what I am close to full. This little flow meter does a great job of letting me know approximately how many gallons I squirt into that tank. So far it seems fairly accurate, and it helps me prevent an overfilling disaster.
