Easy install and looks great
The install was easy, and the final product was great. I was nervous about installing this, but I took the advice of other reviewers and made sure I had another set of helping hands and a much larger spray bottle available. (I mixed my own slip solution using distilled water and baby shampoo). My only minor issue is that a few spots around the edge and cutout didn't look like they would initially stick, but they seemed to. As long as those areas hold, this product is 5 stars for a do-it-yourself PPF for a vulnerable area of the car.

100% fit, great ppf!
Installed on my model Y and very happy with it. Being precut, makes it convenient. Yes, you can install by yourself but having a 2nd person to help is better. DONT accidentally drop it on the ground. Twraps recommends installing when the temperature is 65-75 degrees F. My first time putting on ppf and the size makes it not too hard to apply. A full bumper/hood sized piece would definitely be a challenge for me. Give yourself ample time so your not rushing, with good lighting. Fill up the included bottle with water which has the correct amount of soap already in it. Everything looked great but the next day, I saw a small bubble that I missed while squeegeeing. The film adhesive set already so can’t squeegee it out anymore. So I just used a very tiny sewing needle and carefully poked a hole and flattened the bubble out. I made sure to hold the needle vertically and parallel with the bumper to avoid scratching the bumper. Do this at your own risk. The whole install looks perfect now. It’s fairly easy to install but takes patience, good eyes and lighting, and some ocd/attention to detail. Highly recommend.

Very easy install, looks amazing!!
I started by watching the video instructions first, and then prepped the car. Wash your hands good, and use a high quality micro fiber (test it doesn’t leave lint, may need to wash new ones first) and clean the bumper. Now wet the bumper with the included spray bottle (just add water, has a little soap which you’ll see). When you peel the film, be sure you don’t pull too hard and stretch any part. Go slow, and wet the entire film as you slowly peel it off the backing. Be sure it doesn’t touch the ground. Now you just affix it to the position, aligning the tow circle first. Spray the film after its roughly in position (yes, the outside of the film that is facing away from the bumper). This helps smoothing with the squeegee so that it doesn’t catch the film and create creases. I started on the tow hook circle, and squeegeed that side first, and worked my way to the left side. If you pull the film up to reposition, just add more soapy solution on both sides of the film. This PPF was spot on with the dimensions and only took me 30 minutes. I kind of wish I went with the larger fuller bumper PPF. I was hesitant if it’s truly DIY, and found that it is.

Good Installation
You can see the end result of my first PPF install. It’s been about two months since then and it still looks good. It is providing a barrier of protection to the most sensitive area in the front.I will say that the included spray bottle was not at all helpful for me. I had a spare spray bottle with a full sized squeeze handle available I made my own soap and water mixture in. I needed the larger bottle because I needed extra time to keep the PPF wet and moveable as I learned how to place it. I pulled it off and back on about 5 times until the placement seemed right to me. That was my learning curve. It was fairly straight forward to install and to get the bubbles out.

Super easy ...
I tried installing full front bumper ppf before twice with no luck . Kinda high level stuff. I ended up ordering this partial ppf and install was super easy and a perfect fit for my 23 Model Y. Highly recommended. Great product.

Perfect fit, easy to work with
This front bumper ppf is sized well and the application went great. It’s the correct thickness for this part of the car.To install this properly you need a bigger spray bottle of slip; I always use these tiny bottles for alcohol/tack solution, because they do not deliver enough slip during a time-sensitive install. Also I used a much bigger squeegee than the tiny one provided, for the same reason. This product is priced a little higher than it should be. However I still feel like overpaying for this is still worth it because it’s a critical part of the car. Definitely happy with the purchase.

What might seem intimidating is actually pretty easy.
The PPF arrived in a nice package with a small slip solution bottle, heavy duty squeegee, and QR code directed to video instructions. The “soft” bumper on the Y is really easy for DIYer. I did grab another new spray bottle and made additional slip solution, because I figured the more the better. I watched the provided instructions a few times along with a few general PPF YouTube videos before I started. The keys are take your time and prep the surface really well. Have all your materials on hand to keep the PPF wet while you’re manipulating it into place. The hardest part was resolving the finger crease around the tow port cutout, but you can see in the video how the installer works it out. Good luck!

Stay away
This product came with a small bottle solution. Also, it was almost impossible to install. The other reviewers have probably installed some type of ppf in the past. It is ver y hard to install. The only positive is that it came in a nice package and the value is great compared to regular shop where they install ppf.1/5 stars
