Much smaller than we expected. However, probably perfect size for pirate mad 3 year old grandson. Bit misled by 'secret compartment' which turns out to be main money box space. Lovely wood, good construction, .lost a star because of small size.

My 4 year old loves his new money box. It was smaller that i was expecting but is a fun and different to what you find on the high street

As others have said, these boxes are small, but for my little grandchildren (4 and 2), they were perfect. They quickly managed the 'secret lock' and loved the whole concept. I bought one pirate box and one fairy - both well made and very attractive. So much nicer than more commercial alternatives. Packing and delivery time were very good too.
