Can’t beat the price. It’s a hefty knife and the ergonomics are great for field dressing. No problem getting through the breast plate of big deer. D2 steel shines in edge retention in meat and bone. Excellent knife and if I accidentally lose it in the woods I’m not breaking the bank.

I was skeptical for a sub-$30 knife but am really impressed. It really feels just right in the hand. The sheath has amazing retention - not too hard and not too soft. The little thumb bump to remove the blade works great and doesn't hurt to use. I have done scout carry and it is very secure yet quickly deployable. The belt clip works great too. It is a great inexpensive knife to just use and abuse.

Bought as an EDC fixed blade, it quite stout, thick D2 steel. The kydex sheath holds the blade tight. The factory edge on the blade leaves you wanting a bit, but for the overall blade thickness, it works. In the end, it's a bit heavy for general EDC.

Nice design (I don't know if original or a copy) and the steel is supposed to be excellent as well (once again don't know if the claims are true). With all that said, the knife feels great in the hand and has en excellent sheath too. Update a year later: I liked this so much, I got a second one with different handle color. Very comfortable to use and a visually pleasing design. Edge retention is OK, overall I am very happy with it.
