Easy to fit and feels secure

This was a faff to fit. The instructions are not very helpful and some of the YouTube videos don’t include how to know if you need the space washers. In the end it was a case of half knowledge plus trial and error. If you are buying a caravan I recommend buying the wheel lock before collection of the c’van so you can ask the vendor how to fit it - perhaps they’ll do it for you! I’m female so that’s my excuse, but my husband who was helping wasn’t sure either. Next important thing to know is that it is NOT a universal fit. doesn’t perfectly fit the Basecamp Plus alloy wheels. The distance between lock unit and bar is short by an millimetre or two. Why they make it like this, goodness knows, the slot could easily have been a mill. or two longer. Ideally it should go across the middle, but I could only get it to fit by putting the bar through a closer spoke gap. This means some of the wheel nuts are exposed and could be removed! Had we known, we’d have measured it carefully and possibly sent it back, but by the time we realised, the sponge protection was already showing signs of use, so probably wouldn’t have qualified for a refund. Once set up it does seem to go on and off fairly easily.
