Q: How do I set the timer? Neither set of lights have switched off and they have been on in excess of six hours.

Hi you need to keep the button pressed for 3 seconds this activates the timer button is located on the plug to deactivate you press for 4 seconds and the red light on plug will go out meaning it’s deactivated

Q: Do these lights have a memory function when they are turned off?

These have a memory function if you are using the inbuilt timer. It will remember the last setting mode that you used. If you are turning off and on manually or are using your own timer this has no memory of last setting used. You will nee to set your mode every time unless you want the default combo mode.

Q: How does the 6hr on and 18hr off timer work? I can't find any reference in the instructions. Just a sticker on the side of the plug.

lots of lovely warm lights, small and twinkly.. easily covers my 6ft tree. Good little auto timer function too. Work perfectly, had them a couple of weeks now. Impressed for the price of them. Would definately buy these again

Great lights - recommended

These are really lovely lights and look great on the tree. I don't actually use any of the lighting modes so can't really comment on those but the overall look just on static (which is all i wanted) were great.
