I bought this to use for a Raspberry Pi project. Plugged it in, ran the relevant code, it works. Bit pricey, but seems to be the best value for the job.You could get the same reader writer from other sellers on here for ever so slightly less but this listing was recommended to me and now I’m happy to recommend it to others.

I tried a few NFC tags supplied with and seperate bought tags and have been using them to learn the ropes.The bundled software isnt that helpful but there are 3rd party vendors who disribute their own software to practice on.

I have bough these readers few months back and I was surprised with their quality. I have done many modifications to the hardware, soldering, unsoldering and never had any problems. The buyer should be knowledgeable to install additional packages such as ccid, libnfc, pcsc-tools.

Works perfectly

Seems to work fine. Good range and works well with a friends xNT implant.

Never got it to work, binned it

Works as described, though the supplied MiFare tags are not readable on most devices.
