As good as the leading brand
I never normally review things but felt on this occasion I had to. I needed an undergarment to hold in and smooth my silhouette under a dress for a wedding. No garment is going to perform miracles, but I was extremely pleased with the results. They are lightweight and breathable yet give firm support. The waist goes up to under your bust line and is boned which means it will not roll down whilst wearing. The size guide was accurate (I am a curvy size 12/14 and ordered L) and I wore them all day and night with no discomfort. Very good value for money when you compare them to the well known brand. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Shape Wear that really works
The media could not be loaded. So I'm always a bit iffy about shaperwear because not all of them do what they say. This product however as you can see in the video before and after really does work. I usually wear size 12/14 so got a size L in this product. As the other customers who also bought it say it is hard to pull up and you think you got the wrong size but once it's up it fits great. It's very comfortable overall to wear and I can survive a full day in it. My only issue about it as you see in the video is that on the groin area its tooooo tight. Like it is leaving a crease that shows up on the dress and it's a bit painful. So me being myself lol I just tore that bit to be a bit loose in that area and hey it worked. So I wouldn't recommend getting a size up just because of that area because it may defeat the purpose of the shape wear.Overall its a good product!

Comfy and supportive!
Omg these are amazing!! Don't roll down, comfy, easy to pull up and down, totally smoothed. Absolute magic. Great value for money and really felt supported all day.

Doesn’t cover high enough up tummy
Meh! I was hoping for more yummy control. I’m 5ft4 & wear size10’s waist down. I have a bit of a hormonal tummy and wanted to slim it down under my mother of bride dress. It’s comfortable to wear although the stitching does cut into the groin. It doesn’t come up high enough on the torso so slight bulging at the top.

Half the price and twice as good as Spanx.
I bought two pairs of Spanx, medium and large to get the best fit. I had also seen these and the price was so reasonable and the design looked so good that I decided to give them a try. I only bought one in a medium. I tried on the medium Spanx which fitted well as I was just standing there, but I was disappointed by the lack of control strips and the lightweight fabric. I tried on the Simiya and they fitted like a glove, smoothing in all the right places. Good control panels. Wore them all day and they were perfect. Tried wearing the Spanx today for comparison and they were hopeless, the legs keep rolling up. Simiya are half the price and twice as good as Spanx.

Gave me “carpet burn” in between and on top of my thighs
I don’t tend to get friction burn that bad when bare skinned, but this shape wear gave me the worst friction burn I have ever had or seen. The mesh material tight against skin is a no go. In between thighs I could kind of understand, down to walking and moving, but on the tops of my thighs??? Bad material for that area. While it made me feel more secure it didn’t actually make any difference to my stomach.

Comfortable and flattering
So this was a panic purchase when I realised that my spare tyre was really not looking good in my little black dress that was seeing the light of day for my once a year night out. Didn't want to spend a fortune on suck-it-all-in pants coz, lets be honest, it would take Harry Potter level magic to vanish 2 spare stone of flab. All I wanted was some support to maybe reduce the bulk by a couple of centimetres and stop it all wobbling. Have to say these knickers did a valiant job. They are nicely high waisted so you don't end up being sliced in 2, like a hot dog bun, but end up smooth like a freshly baked loaf of bread. The boning and clever criss cross stretch panels do a great job of squeezing your fat closer to your skeleton, think hunky dude wrapping his arms around your midriff and giving you a nice warm hug - provides a great confidence booster as well as making you visually more appealing. The only comment I would make is that I found the sizing generous. I currently wear size 14 (UK) clothing (Please refer to previous statement re excess stoneage) so ordered the size XL (14-16) however think the size L (12-14) would have provided a tighter, even more flattering fit. Having said all that, the conclusion is that the knickers were extremely comfortable to wear on my night out and did the supportive job I wanted, so I would recommend if like me you spectacularly fail to accomplish your diet goals in time for your annual night out. :) Hope this helps.

Disappointing.
I’ve been wanting to buy some shape-wear for a while now just to help cinch me in a tiny bit when I wear certain clothes. I liked the look of these because they seemed to really pull in the stomach/torso. They were quite tight to get on which I took as a good sign and they did definitely pull me in all over and bring the stomach in a bit! But the downside was that it made me lumpy in areas I’m not even lumpy? All it did was push my flesh to my sternum instead so I had a weird bulge at the top of the shape-wear. And where it sits, it accentuates any back fat or rolls you might have. I’m not particularly large or holding a large amount of fat but it actually made my shape worse lol. It did smooth out the hips and stomach which is probably better for others, but I felt it squashed the bum down a bit too much and made it flatter than I wanted. Very meh product, which I’ll be returning.
