Amazing taste
Bought this by accident as couldn't get my regular apple flavour. What a happy accident. Ot comes on a lovely jar, has honey and maple syrup in, pleasing taste on my cornflakes and so glad I discovered it. Not the cheapest, but the best.

Small quantity of delicious Granola
This is a tasty breakfast but the cost per bowl is excessive. May have again but not regularly.

Awesome granola
I love everything in this granola the toasted tastiness the nuts fruit. I cannot fault this product.Except the price. As wonderful as it is I'm afraid it's just out of my family budget.

Good but not scrumshus enough to justify the price premium
We make, eat and cook with granola most weeks so were curious to try Scrumshus and judge whether or not it's worth the high price tag. Altho' it's a tasty, crunchy granola with a good balance of fruits, it wasn't as delicious as we expected, its keeping qualities seem limited, and it didn't feel like value for money. It's rapidly becoming a pet peeve that food producers describe a product as "No Added Sugar" when they more accurately mean there's no added table sugar, white sugar, brown sugar or similar granulated form. The honey and maple syrup make up 30% by weight of the granola and as both of them are liquid forms of sugar, the "No Added Sugar" claim feels disingenuous. (100g of honey has 82g of sugars of which is 36g is glucose and 41g fructose plus traces of others; 100g of maple syrup contains 60g of sugars of which 58g is sucrose.) Overall, per 100g of this granola there are 32g of sugar. The suggested serving size is 25g of which sugars are 8g and it didn't seem like there was such an abundance of fruit that that was the highest source of these sugars. The jar is a very smart presentation and it's useful to re-use it but unless you consume the contents quickly (i.e., within a week), it seems as if the granola loses some of its good qualities. To my palate, after 8 days, it tasted as if the coconut was oxidising as it had a slight taste of soap. This might not be a problem in households where 500g would be used up more quickly and maybe I should have decanted it into a smaller container or used it up in some granola cake or cookies but at £12 per kg, it would have felt ridiculous to do this when granolas that are 1/6th of the cost work well in those recipes. It will always be a matter of personal preference but although I enjoyed this granola I didn't feel as if I'd had my money's worth and there are other granolas in this price bracket that I prefer and have substantially less sugar without any undue impact on the taste. I shan't purchase this again.
