As a professional tech I also tend to be frugal. There's no way I was about to shell out hundreds of dollars for a 1/4 inch socket set from a tool truck. It's not like they have to handle a lot of torque or abuse! And since 1/4 sockets are so small they are super easy to lose as well! Instead I had been purchasing 1/4 inch chrome socket sets from parts stores or harbor freight for under $10. The price was right but I'd be lucky to get a few months use out of these before they became deformed and unusable. I finally decided to "splurge" on a decent set when I stumbled across this kit! All i can say is wow! They've held up great! They fit the nuts and bolts perfectly and the price is right! My ONLY complaint about this set is that they seem to fit just a little bit loose on my 1/4 inch extensions. It's almost like the lock fits loose in the hole on the sockets and I have to be a little bit careful because it doesn't take much for the socket to come off of my extensions. However I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing as because of this I'm much more careful about these sockets and I feel like that helps to keep me from losing them! I will note that many years ago I owned a set of Sunex 3/8" swivel sockets and they didn't last very long at all before the swivel portion would break. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of these sockets because of my experience with those but like I said so far these have been great!

I’ve been using Sunex tools for many years and they are a high quality brand name. This is a beautiful set of 1/4” 6 point impact sockets in Standard and Metric sizes in regular and deep well. They’re worth the money for sure!

Very nice set of sockets that I use everyday

The 11/32 size in this kit is a gem. It will remover stripped 10mm-iah bleeder screws. This is an amazing tool kit to have. Solid choice. Professionally used and they are so good. Just get a specialty close quarter 1/4 in socket set/ ratchet that has a good handle and maybe go with the splined socket type for close quarters. A lot of value here for generally tools... Especially that 11/32 size with seunex socket design. So good.

For the price and bulletproof warranty these are great, sunex tools are one of my favorites the warranty is easy enough to go through and while it may take a while to get a new part you will get it. Im yet to break one but I'm confident that when I do it's because I put a impact driver on it.

This 1/4" set is made in China now. New design and packaging as of May 2025. No longer made in Taiwan. Wonder if this will change now with tariffs, but or if Sunex will move all their tooling there. Quality seems fine though.

I ordered this set and did a few small projects with it and the items worked well. I recently went to use the shallow 13mm socket and noticed it was missing. However I had two 11mm shallow sockets in my kit. I contacted SUNEX, and after sending them my proof of purchase information, they sent out the missing 13mm socket at no charge.

This is my 3rd set of Sunex socket sets, having previoulsy purchaed the 1/2" and 3/8" sets. I have had those for several years and use them hard. Working on truck suspension parts requires high torque impact guns and at times long breaker bars. this puts a lot of stress on the socket and these have not failed me. As good as my Crafstman set that these replaced. I good assortment of sizes as well. Nice sturdy box. These are NOT your typical chinese amde Harbor Freight type throwaway tool. Made to last. I would buy again, but unless I lose some I doubt I will need to, they really are decent sockets.

Needed to expand my socket collection with some 3/8 and 1/4 impact sockets. Chrome sockets just make me uneasy as i have had them shatter and it's not fun especially because you have to find all the pieces to collect for warranty so it was time to invest in some 1/4 impact sockets and buying individually is expensive so i found this Sunex set that has a very wide range of sizes for a decent price. I purchased socket storage trays at Princess Auto so the storage case was almost useless for me so i just stored them in later just in case. I don't care where they were made but it says "Made in Taiwan" and that's a little better than "Made in China" junk. The sockets feel very durable and don't have a rough finish and the writing on the sockets are clearly marked and easy to see as with oil or grease don't seem to rub off. Something that really surprised me is that the set comes with 14mm and 15mm shallow and deep sockets which many other sets do not offer that. Everything from 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5 -15 it comes with which is really great as there is nothing missing. The storage case is most certainly handle for those who do carry it around as it has all the sizes marked on the case. I use these daily with impacts and some with force and some with light force and all have stood up to different abuse. I would totally say i recommend to anyone from DIYer to Professional as the price is very decent sockets.

Good quality and perfect tool set. Fast delivery But when this driver drop it out side of building no one see driver or any sign off, packages under raining. My order over 120 dollars not 10 dollars, I has this the same problems coupled times, this door always open. Please open the door walk in side office and hand it to some one to received more professorial, take you a minute. Thank this tool help me finish my job need.
