Not tried using it for oven but I've used it for all my DIY work around the house. It's easier than cleaning grease off my hands! My wife prefers to use marigold for kitchen and bathroom because they are thicker. These are great for more precision dirty work really.

I suggest that you reconsider! I have extensive experience of pre-hospital trauma care and I would not consider these gloves to be suitable for first aid as they are too weak and fragile.

Smaller than expected

L size arrived, when I had intended to order M. This was OK, as the gloves are much smaller than I expected. I recommend ordering at least 1 size larger than you thing you need. As to durability, I haven't used them yet, but they look as if they will do fine.

Size runs small

Standard Nitrile gloves (not Heavy Duty). Size on the small size. I ordered two of the medium and have now ordered one of the Large.Edit: My 3star review (revised to4) was harsh now that I've received the large size. Just annoyed at the medium not fitting me. As good as any other gloves that I've bought. The large is between medium and large. The medium between small and medium. From a small sample I've found that gloves made in China are on the small side, and those made in Vietnam a true fit. Unfortunately not usually included in the description.

Size ordered perfect fit, powder free and stronger than I expected. I was able to finish all the brass pieces on my door without having to use 2 pairs, which I normally have to do with this kind of glove.
