Decent mic
I've used shure for ages. Just wanted something different to try.Up against my old shure mic this beats it hands down but up against a new shure I can't tell you.

Directional Mic.
Because it is a directional mic, you must keep your mouth close to the mic. The further you are away from the mic, the harder it is to pick up your voice. This a great mic for anyone that does not want to pick up other sounds.
